Class Impressions

Instead of writing a story about each, I'll just boil it down to the sensations felt while playing the class. I'd say out of all of them Jugg is my least favorite to play, with mara being the most fun, and sniper the most effective. I want to try an Op, but I heard they kinda suck.

 

Jugg:

I'm a rock, I eat damage, but I walk on tar and fight with those $20 walmart lightsabers.

 

Mara:

Holy crap I can dish out damage, try to solo me, see what happens. But why is my armor made of toilet paper?

 

Sniper:

I laugh at mara/jugg types, I'll just snipe your face, my damage is awesome and survivability as well. Just don't get in my face and knock me around, also please stand still for a second.

 

Assassin:

I can take damage and dish damage though not too much of either, just don't ask me to use anything other than dark charge, I'll die.

 

Merc:

Much like assassin I can give and take, just don't interrupt my tracers or I'll be really confused for 4 seconds. I'm also really boring. Spec me as healer, watch me suck.

 

I haven't played any rep classes high enough to get a good feel for them.

Sorc: Hey what's up, I'll CC you all day, deal insane AoE damage, have decent survivability with my shield, can burst you, can heal, and if things get rough I'll dash away. Don't call me OP please, BW might notice. Edited February 27, 2012 by Spiderbubble

Trooper Vanguard -- Pretty much invincible. Can have its cake and eat it too. I don't dish out wild damage, but it's enough to piss off anyone playing Jugg.

 

Gunslinger -- Damage is retarded good. Play this for screen shots of end game boards, just don't ask me to do anything useful, like carry the ball--I get eaten alive without cover.

 

Your assessment of Jugg and Mara is pretty spot on. Jugg has great utility but little else to make it something you cna continue to chew. I feel like I should have just rolled Mara again and been done with it.

 

Mara. feels like a wet noodle equipped with razors and lasers. The damage is dumb, but good luck getting it out. Easily died 2-3x more than with the other classes. Could be a L2P issue, or a level issue, but 1-49 PvP is where it's at.

Sage(Healer)- I'm the best heals in the game and I'll just kite you around the area while healing myself. I also die less than 3 times a game and have a ton of healing done by the end.

I'll make you waste your E-break from CC then force Lift you and run away *Trollface*. 2 or more of us in a WZ while guarded means everyone is immortal.
