Severely bored :\

I just wanted to say, thanks BW, but I can't really handle this anymore. The grind to 50 is excessively repetitive and boring and level 50 is just a let down pvp-wise. Grind for gear, buy bags, buy gear, get 60, do quests and get BM bags, finish BM set... now what? :\ I can level another toon, but I've already experienced the entire game twice. I shouldn't be able to tell people that I beat an MMO >_< I have like one piece of pve gear and one piece of pvp gear to get then I'm done.

Hopefully, you guys will fix world pvp, because my server(which seems to have a HUGE world pvp fanbase) has gone from one of the most popular and laggy to a lonely, cold wasteland where jedi are in the 30's and imp's are in the 150's at peak times on the fleets.

Until then, I'll be unsubbing :p Best of luck to you! I hope to be able to return one day :)

...

why do you feel that an MMO has to be the sole cause in your life?

I mean, ive been seeing this a lot and was considering posting a separate thread about it.. but i find it kind of alarming that people seem to think the game is a failure if you cant spend 100% of your leisure time - be it one hour or 10 hours a day - on just this game.

Thats...

foolish is the nicest word i can come up with.

I LIKE the factt hat ive been able to play and complete Kingdoms of Amalur, start a second playthrough of ME2 (with all the DLC), catch up on BBC's excellent Luther, and log into Star Wars when i want and enjoy this too, without feeling like, because im not logged in all the time, that im "getting behind".

It's a GOOD thing.

It's refreshing to see other people that understand it's not all about the game 24/7. Very well said!

Because he wants it to be.

I'm wrong because I have a lot of time to play?

..Sorta?

you're wrong in that you think it is reasonable that a game provide you with 10+ hours a day of entertainment, every day, and that something is wrong with the game if it cant.

No one can develop that. The man hours required to make a game that would stay fresh after hours and hours a day, every day, without end, are just.. not achievable.

Or i guess what im saying is, if he's bored with SWTOR because there's "not enough for him to do" -

then there simply is no game that will satisfy him. It doesnt exist.

I agree with some of the other people in this thread, if you expect the game to supply you with 20,000 hours of gameplay, you can't really expect all 20,000 hours of it to be incredibly exciting and to never get repetitive.

I mean lets be practical here, you're just paying 15$ a month.

If you want to add in some ridiculously boring rep grinds for things like the insane title in wow that's more of something you'd post in the general forums.

I play 16 hours a day (It's my job, see the signature =P) and I am still satisfied with the game as a whole. Flashpoints I hate due to terrible mechanics as a tank (way too many knockdowns/knock backs it's terribly annoying) but I enjoy the basic just running around Ilum farming Archaeology materials... As terribly boring as that sounds

This game doesnt have a world pvp craving fanbase.

It just doesnt.

I seen a few of your posts and they are all anti PVP ,

can i ask why you dont like pvp so much ,

I can tell you there are at least 2 severs active atm who definatly have a playerbase that is pvp heavy , for you too say and keep saying this is not a pvp game there is not the playerbase for it is wrong ,

Allot of the WAR comunity came here also rift and the pvp players from wow

it was advertised to have exciting openworld pvp as well as warzones for people to fight so why would we not expect to have pvp

there is room and a good online game now should have both types of play

and if you are so against it , why keep posting in the pvp forums ,

are u just trolling ??

Im actually partially with you; a good friend and I (our guild tank) were having dinner last night at the bar while my wife and his fiance were out shopping.

We were actually lamenting that there are no reps or other.. longer-term carrots to chase.

But we also aknoweldge that we are atypical.

my original post (the one you quoted) was aimed more at the guy who (doesnt) apparently enjoy repetative gameplay and somehow wants there to be thousands of hours of content available that is all relevant right now.

Its just not there, in any game, anywhere.

And quite honestly, there's plenty of time-wasting even in the simple stuff. My PvP daily, when i choose to do it, usually takes 6-8 games to get 3 wins. (I soloqueue a lot). Thats 2 hours of gameplay/entertainment right there.

Some days, thats all i can even afford to play.

Really..? Get BM gear and then what..? Hmm how about.. PvP for fun?

WOAH!

Ya PvP with 4 premade and thats it..right now there is no point to even being in a PvP guild or anything since u can only group with 4...This game flopped faster than Age of Conan and Rift and thats saying ALOT.
