I bought the CE Edition I heavily invested into this game and I guess like some investments....it really wasn't worth it. This game's story is solid but yeah the game play as is I'd rather wait to see if they fix the current problems rather than looking into things like a Guild Summit to focus on a group of people who are an minority in game who most likely want a game close to the game that was cancelled and failed Star War Galaxies.

 

At this point things I want that would make me come back

 

• Looking for Dungeon Tool

1. I understand the Hardcore Elite have rallied against this idea but again games based on their game play don't sell any more yet they come to other games complain so hopefully one day that series will turn into their paradise until the game gets cancelled or goes Free 2 Play because the formula they like doesn't work.

2. If you want the casuals this is needed. Let the Hardcore Elite whine thats all the do but yet they have no where else to go since games they prefer have low populations and it's hard to have a DKP guild having people run and get gear to make you 'Elite" when one or two people.

 

• Dual Speccing

1. I know this has been announced but it has been put on the back burner.

 

Things that I semi care about

 

• Add Ons

1. The add-ons in World of Warcraft completed changed the way we play MMOs. In fact what the community has built has been put in all major MMOs like Quest Helper which brought in a couple of million easily.

2. The next new add on can enhance the game and it has kept World of Wacraft alive for far to long.

 

Situations that have influenced my decision to quit

 

 

• Bioware PR

1. Right now the Offical Bioware staff is at war with it's fans.

2. Staff members are leaving

3. Staff members are going after and insulting it's fans and anyone who has said anything back is a bully.

 

• Stanley Woo

1. How can this guy still have a job?

Thanks for the note I went ahead and changed that....I don't think anyone needs any Stanley Woo customer service.

 

I'm sure some of this stuff will be implemented, and some other stuff may just never reach your level of expectations.

 

It's what you set yourself up for that becomes the disappointment... not what you get. In my experiences anyhow.

 

I wanted to play this game to just chill back and have fun. Worked out perfectly for me.

just unsubbed. CBA to cover expenses on their extended beta. and the fanboys here are so...bad at fanboy'ing. Other thread one mentioned they're ok with no swimming, as it's not integral to the star wars universe (not much, granted) or REAL LIFE. Got 2 to 25 and just can't login to do it anymore. back to AoC...again.

No I what I don't want is that 12, or 13 year old Everquest Formula that lasted until WoW was released ;)

 

What I want is a casual game, just because we are not advocating into that old broken system older then World of Warcraft doesn't mean we want Warcraft in space....hell they can make Starcraft game out of that

All the things the OP listed are set for patch 1.2 I believe.

 

Really didn't need an 'i quit' thread, though.

Can you provide links? Like I said those are things I am looking to have. Looking for dungeons is a must and I know Dual Speccing is coming out later in the year....but do you have any further information?

Really? You honestly stand by this inflammatory thread of yours?

 

I agree that the customer service for TOR is sorely lacking but I think you're exagerating anything/everything you can to persuade yourself you're right to quit. Just quit mate.

 

FYI Bioware is not at war with their fans. Silliest line i've read in a while though.

Basically for one year fans have been blasting the main staff of Dragon Age II even going so far as console banning little comments http://kotaku.com/5780876/how-saying...g-a-video-game basically for one year the Dragon Age 2 forum on Bioware Social has been a literal war zone.

 

All team leads have been called out but it seems Bioware and the gaming new industry has teamed up to go after fans and focus on just one person fans have been blasting which is Hepler who was a team lead. So far though people are offended someone would attack a female the outrage still exists and the gaming news sites reporting this have not turned fan opinion.

 

As you know even the Dragon Age Origins Director quit Bioware because of the direction the company was going.

That's rich, coming from some going back to AoC, LOL. AoC universally derided as a failure, and you're questioning this game?
