Im not sure if this would be anything good, but I think it might be decent dmg, with crown controll AND healing. We all know the heal hybrid spec that is there, but then you cant have electric bindings, backlash and lightning effusion that are very essential to surviving a melee fight. Im not sure if anyone actually uses chain lightning more than every 10 second, whick this spec provides as well. We can push back a melee and heal very efficiently, instant hot, and then 2x 1.4 sec big heals (yes it actually counts for 2 if you heal fast) which is doable everytime the knockback is up. The chainlightning will hurt more because of the forked lightning, and so will the lightning strike. Tho we are missing out on 10% crit, which is the cost for having that fats and good heals. We will have lightning barrage, and FL will always be up for that. We still have the regular 6 sec snare to use whenever its up.

 

So basicly this build would persist of affliction, LS, chainlightning (that is also 10% extra AE because of the heal tree) and then FL whenever its up. We could in theori cast crushing darkness once in a while if we wanted. Im a little worried about not having snare on my primary attack. But vs a ranged char I think this might be better dmg than the regular build. That and we can easely stun/emergency heal.

if you want damage/heals why go lightning at all

 

23/0/18 is pretty strong in pvp, but you can go OOF easily. I've got both 300k medals in one game as this spec though, it's pretty fun.

 

This LE/innervate build means you can heal for much longer. You should never die with the amount of peelz you have. The only thing I hate about it is having to actually use LS. Now that I think about it, it's easily the best healing spec for huttball. Though perhaps I'd rework some talents to get the speed buff on barrier if I was making a huttball specific build.

heres a hybrid dps/heal spec I was playing around with... just for fun, it gives up alot of sorc candy, but it still packs solid direct heals w/forcebending and wrath procing decent cl crits. Its rough... points could maybe be shuffled, downside is you have to rely on sith efficacy from force lightening to keep the healing output up.

 

anyway something different.

I did that one for a while, and its what inspired me to make the light/heal one. I had a hard time dealing with melee in that spec. The lightning spec I got now makes it easier to hold melee at bay and heal up, the problem is getting in alot of dmg before they are on you, but healing up while they are on you is cake in this spec atleast.

yea its definatly a support role without many tricks... you need to be rolling with your buddies and really snipe and run. Ive played a bunch of different specs, the one I linked is not my favorite, but it is something different and fun. :D
