MVP Votes should be cast by your Opponents

Just change it to you have to vote before you leave WZ at the end

Keeps people from voting for each other, and your opponents would know better who was wrecking them rather than your teammates selecting Highest dmg or healer

They focus on an unkillable healer...healer will get the votes...a tank causing chaos in their ranks..he'll get the votes...an operative bugging someone enough to take them out of the fight/objective...he may get a vote.

Just an Idea of better dispersion based on who your enemy thinks won the game for your team.

have to vote to leave, otherwise wait and unque :dunno:

i thought it was a good idea, didn' t think there would be this much negativity.

You have just made a fatal judgement error that is all. The internet and thus mmo's are full of *****. ***** don't and will not vote for the player that killed them 10 times or the fing healer that no one targeted and made everyone unkillable that they tried to DPS. They will not be that rational :p So you will end up with stupid votes and people clicking whatever to get off the screen.

If MVP is that much of an issue the game should just hand it out based on a criteria or something. Or let your own team vote but force them to vote.

It works fine as it is.

Some people vote for the lowest medal player to boost their rewards, others vote for the best healer, some vote for top medals / dps, others vote for the people who actually seemed to contribute most regardless of scoreboard (i.e. huttball ball carriers who do not get rewarded on the scoreboard).

Because things like Personal bias (someone annoyed you, killed you a lot,was always there healing people, laughed at you whatever), pre conceived idea's (Sorc's are so *********** op what a tosser he/she should play a real class) and so forth, would cloud judgments and votes. Hell even apathy and just clicking whatever to get off the screen would make the MVP vote kind of a joke.

I think some people who post here confuse rudeness with pragmatism. If a person doesn't vote for the best opponent, it doesn't mean that person is some sort an idiot or whatever who doesn't appreciate his enemies. Vice versa, such a person doesn't want these enemies to become even stronger, and out of purely pragmatic reasons he/she won't cast his vote for the best enemy. It's perfectly logical, nothing vulgar or unfair about it.

Others can think from the position of "honour" and "fun", of course, and they have their right of voting for the best enemies. But that's not the only valid point of view. Simply speaking, no mercy for the enemy.

Yeah this wont work.

Im going to be honest, if one guy is playing well and foccus's me down (im a healer) and just takes me out the game and i do barley any healing because this guys always on top of me, am i going to give him MVP?

NOOO, im going to want to remove his brains through his nose using a fork, in spite of him actually playing well.

Just being honest folks.

Or he just rage quit 45 seconds into the game, so he has no medals.

You can't vote for someone not currently in the warzone.

On topic: It would, unfortunately, mean that most people would not vote at all. So it's basically as it is now! :D
