jimmybob Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 It's not as if Shadow abilities cost less. Everything uses it. I'm not understanding why Sages get a good amount and Shadows do not.
Cubertt Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 shadows get a much higher force regen while sages is really low. if you played WoW think the diffrence between a rogue and a priest in terms of rescources.

That's not true, for deception assassins/inf shadows only in stealth and 6 (6 *********** seconds) after stealth, and you have blackout that gives also 6 seconds of increased force regen (25%) Which makes it really slow and you run out pretty fast making it impossible to do any sustained damage other than burst Tank shadows/sins on the other hand gets a 30% permanent increase in force regen which is pretty nice Madness has the same force regen as a sage/sorc

Laoi Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I would destroy things with 400 force. and u dont with 100/110?
swifferdude Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I kick butt with 110 force. When I'm low I just use the regular ability (forgot its name) once and then I have enough force to use another ability... no complaints here
Kitru Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Shadows don't have a massive pool of resources because we don't need it. Sages have most of their attacks cost 30-50 Force. As a Shadow, most of our attacks cost 20-25 Force. Since our abilities cost less, we have less need to play around with a massive resource pool so we don't have one.
KoruptData Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 and u dont with 100/110? That's my point, I think I do. Asking for 400 force, might aswell ask for no cooldowns either.
GFWarper Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 and u dont with 100/110? Let's take a look at 10 lvl shadow. You have shadow strike and you can use it for 50 force hitting for like 2.5k per hit. On the other side you have a project of 42 force and double strike for 1.2 total. With 400 force you'd be able to use shadow strike 16 times - just enough to wipe 3-4 targets. And it's... 1 button. Do you really want to play like this?
