Mission Rewards... 50/50 or 60/40 Cunning/Endurance?

I'm leveling up a DPS (concealment) operative right now and for all my mission rewards I keep getting offered two similar pieces of gear: one with 50/50 cunning/endurance and one with approximately 60/40 cunning/endurance.

As a DPS operative, should I be choosing the 50/50 or 60/40? Up until now (lvl 22), I've been choosing the 60/40 because I figured, "hey, I'm DPS. I don't need to worry about endurance because the tank should be taking all the damage". But then I thought, "wait, maybe the 60/40 high cunning pieces are meant for healing operatives".

So, tl;dr, as a DPS operative, should I be balancing my endurance and cunning? Or just go all out cunning?

If you want to be a glass cannon then get cunning

If you want to be slightly less of a glass cannon then get endurance.

Healers tend to get the max cunning and concealment tends to get endurance.

Either way you are made of glass.

The extra Endurance is, obviously, best for when you're the one taking damage. But that covers a lot of situations:

> In PvE questing you'll generally be soloing, and it'll depend on which companion you use. If Lokin's assisting (the Lethality and Concealment types), then you're the one taking damage, so those extra HP really help. But if you're not tanking (Medicine, or you just like Kaliyo), then you're the support and your companion is taking all the hits, and that means you really want the extra Cunning.

> In PvE Hard Modes, the group's tank will be taking the vast majority of the damage. Even the DPS types can go Cunning over Endurance there without many issues.

> In PvE raids, AoE damage is inevitable for any melee types and your healers won't be keeping a really close eye on your HP when they also have to cover the rest of the raid (especially the tanks). Having those extra HP can make a huge difference in terms of whether you last long enough for the op's healers to notice and/or you hit your own stimpack.

Either way you are made of glass.

...and then there's this. The difference between the two is just not going to make a huge difference in the long term; we just don't have the defenses to survive a whole lot once you get to the top end. So if you guess "wrong", it's not too bad. In my own case, I've generally gone 50/50, with half Skill and half Patron mods.
