Ecmelt Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I've read most of the topics so i only have 1 question.. since absorption comes from the stupid accuracy enchantment as a shadow tank do we use those in our gear (56 ones is what i have) or the def/shield ones as they have no accuracy which i believe is **** for tanking?
Ecmelt Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 so anyone? Using accuracy/absorb is a good choice if your absorb is low or not?
Crazybobo Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) so anyone? Using accuracy/absorb is a good choice if your absorb is low or not? You want to balance them all somewhat, because a lot of out tanking ability is avoid damage and if we get hit to soak up some of it with our shield. I don't like the accuracy rating either but, dropping out all of your absorb because of it isn't a good idea, because when your shield does proc, you'll be taking a lot more damage if you don't have absorb. I prefer a defense>shield>absorb priority system. We need all of them but if I have a choice I choose in this order. I think most of the time I'm around 48% absorb, 42% shield, and 25% defense. grandmasterub Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 You need some accuracy, just not as much as they give you. There was a thread awhile back with exactly how much you need. Absorption is important but you could probably wait on it until your other stats hit the diminishing return curve
