I already have the Champion tanking shield I got when I first hit 50, but the Columi Offhand dropped for me last night and now I'm a dps vs a tank. So I have the choice of the the shield generator or the power generator. I think I read somewhere that you should always get the shield generator over the power generator. Is this true? And if so, what are the reasons? Shield is useless if you aren't in Soresu, if you're doing DPS get the focus - you'll do more damage, which is the point. In addition to this the shield generator also has more endurance rather then strength as well as defensive stats instead of offensive ones.
