VinUnleaded Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Yesterday and today, whenever I start up SWTOR after logging in and it tries to download the patch, SWTOR shuts off my internet connection, and as long as the patch screen is up I cannot access the internet with google or Internet Explorer or any other engine. As soon as I close the launcher which by the way shows its unable to download the patch, then the internet starts working again!Great job Bioware! My quit SWTOR finger is beginning to twitch!
Saurakk Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I also heard they make a puppy suffer every time you log in too.

HanoverFist Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Try powering off your router or modem or both if you have them.Give em a couple of minutes, then power them back on. If you do have a router try running the ethernet cord strait from the modem and bypass the router. Short of that customer service forum is probably your best bet for this.
Keypek Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I've actually had this problem as well lately. All though my patcher still works fine I just can't do much of anything else on the internet while it's patching. Not sure why and I wouldn't put past the issue being on my end. But it is kinda weird.
SkateOnTrees Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 its prolly b/c of the system32 folder go ahead and delete that
Derfmiolleh Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Its your router.Oh, and I heard they turn video cards into light sabres.
themacr Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Yes, because an application that uses bandwith OBVIOUSLY breaks your computer in such a way that no other application can possibly connect to the internet AT ALL. Might be a network related issue that sends ALL trafic to 1 port on your computer (whatever port the launcher uses) so your other trafic gets lost in there also.
Zyanzor Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 its prolly b/c of the system32 folder go ahead and delete that Lmao! You are bad!
Lordhoun Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Lol, before launching a Troll'n complaint about an application not working, maybe you need to learn how the internet works.
