Hello there!

 

What I miss not doing this part of the game?

 

I mean: does space missions reward, say, armors, implants, mods, or anything useful for the char, or just improvements to the ship itself?

nothing at all space combat is a joke and its not worthy of the name Star Wars

You can exchange the coms for loot boxes which can have gear, but if your doing them before lvl 50 it is awesome exp for doing the dailies, they don't take long but seriously boost your exp

daily's give you nice credits the first few times too. i'd recomend playing space every morning... dont forget, make sure when you have the oportunity, to upgrade your ship slots.

you'l need them the higher your level. Enjoy. I do.

You can also buy social gear (light armor only) with the commendations, entire pilot outfits.

With the exception of the gray missions, I'm pretty consistent in doing the dailies. It's a nice way to rack up xp's and a decent amount of credits, plus your ship is a rest zone.

 

I've found the missions not very challenging. Reminds me of an 80's arcade game.

Once you hit level 50, if you do all the space missions once a day, you'll be earning about 120k credits (assuming you complete all the bonus objectives)

 

That's very very close to the credits from completing the Ilum/Belsavis dailies, and they take significantly less time to do.

space combat is useful to grind some exp, when you have missions that need you running around the galaxy just to have a conversation worth 10.000 exp, it's better to grind space combat and sip the whole questline
