When you are in battle and **** happen, you can get revive, but before you can stand up and engage again, you need to click twice on buttons, it takes like 3/4 seconds. In that time your whole crew can be dead or will be dead (if you are tank and you died). Revive should work as emergency button which really can make your day, but because of long reaction on when to you get revive and when you can engage again, it loose a lot of potential.
