A change went in a few patches ago along the lines of: no more than 50 imps and 50 republic could be in the pvp area on ilum. If an imperial tried to enter the pvp area, where there was already 50 imperials, they would get transferred to another instance of ilum. This seems to have worked pretty well, as it allows Republic to build up enough numbers in one instance to be have a fighting chance. You are wrong. You are wrong. You are wrong. Stop trolling the forums that is not at all how it works. 100 is cap, if there are 80 empire present only 20 rep can arrive after that the new reps are sent to illum(2).. Why are you saying such things without facts, quite upsetting as you seem to be ignorant of the situation at illum that we all live with on most servers. eldubz Posted February 15, 2012 Share Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) 95% of the time on swiftsure its 4 to 1 i just logged in and imps had more then a full ops group and reps had 7 people. peek hours its 2+ imps ops to a if we are luck 1 full group. Noer Posted February 15, 2012 Share Posted February 15, 2012 If repubs on our server for once gets equal or more numbers than the imps, the imps either don't come back or come back with 4:1 numbers. I don't know about the rest of you. But for me the most fun fights in Ilum are the ones with equal numbers where the balance go back and forth. You realise there are 2 exits to the base? Dont compain about zerging since I've logged onto repub Ilum and you have +/-5 players between us. I dont get all the complaints about being outnumbered (pop caps). Discuss if Repubs are terrible on your server too. FFS, stop whining about it and let them out. We had a great battle tonight in Central. Republic pushed us back almost all the way to our base....then they fell back to Central and waited for us. It was super fun. I will say that the Republic on Jung Ma seems to be MUCH better about being patient and not zerging one or two stragglers. I'm not sure what server you are on, but on mine there is consistently more imps running around then republic players. I logged in at 5am gmt and still got ganked by 10 imps in central. Even if I do manage to hold my own, and it happens occasionally, then suddenly 2 more imps show up and I get zapped. As for falling back, where else should we go? Imps have more players and as soon as we start winning the imps start flooding in till we get pushed back to the base. Then when the imps get bored or fill their quota and start losing players we can push back and the cycle continues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BeeSiK Posted February 16, 2012 Share Posted February 16, 2012 please, I run into republics in Ilum/wz/world that if I am about to kill them they run off if they have any speed abilities....most of the time if I fight a class that can stealth I almost never kill them because they disappear and before they reappear they are half way across the map. They dont know how to fight, if they cant have the chance to grip you into a turret for an instant kill..they realize they have no chance because they don't know how to play. Discuss if Repubs are terrible on your server too. because 1 empire players are stupid enough to follow them so the republic can pull the empire players across the spawn line to insta kill them. and also on most servers they mostly consist of empire players meaning lack of republic players to fight off the zerg fest of empire players.
