andorenX
Title says it all, the aggro drop we learned about last week in Eternity Vault from Soa the Infernal IS IT FIXED?
Zormarius
It's not a bug. This is how they fixed the issue with Soa when a tank got mind trapped. He won't reset anymore when this happens but instead he drops agro everytime he casts a mind trap. NOT HARD TO COUNTER. Holy hell. It's not a bug. GwainNaer
Our Gunslinger had the misfortune of having Soa almost always aggro to him in phase 3 because of the aggro drop. Apparently simply going into cover would cause just enough aggro (still don't exactly understand how) while his shield was up that he'd almost immediately go after him. Zeryx
The tank bug hasnt been fully fixed. Happened to me the other day. If you have taunt on the boss, then go mindtrap it all gets reset.

Yes if you taunt the boss after he does a mind trap he will sometimes still reset but it much less likely. This was a "Bandaid" patch.
eiefant
It is a bug that he agros whoever is closest to him in P3 - which was the case in the last patch.

DarthBloodloss
This happened to us last nite. He aggros non-tanks and they run around like a chicken with their head cut off. Everyone is trying to get them in the general direction of the pillar. Not a fun time. Seems like a bug. Especially since he aggros people who are not attacking him, and he ignores the main tank. FourtyEight
The sad part is that he still despawns sometimes.
andorenX
The sad part is that he still despawns sometimes. Yup had a 6% attempt with everyone alive last week on Soa Nightmare, then he reset, and of course we never even got close again the rest of the night with RNG and Bugs, this is AFTER we have killed him for a few weeks now. Not fun is an extreme understatement.
SkylerMakai
Can anyone confirm that taunting after he cast mind trap works to regain aggro?
oredith
Can anyone confirm that taunting after he cast mind trap works to regain aggro? I can confirm that it did NOT for us on normal mode last night. on one occasion, right after mind trap, the tank taunted, the pylon came up, i chaff flared (I started doing it on cooldown because we didn't know *** would work), and he immediately turned away from the tank and walked toward me as if I had just taunted him. tried various methods for 2 hours, and finally gave up. beyond frustrating. SkylerMakai
We spent 6 hours on HM SOA last Saterday. Mastered all the transitions and was able to get him down to 32k with 1 tank. I think we will be running him with a Main tank and Off-tank in DPS gear for him this week. Good Luck everyone.
Kenshinth
We did Soa on normal last night and our tank taunted right after a mind trap went up and it seemed to work as we killed him without him running around like a chicken with no head. I think the lesson here is: Soa is now a game of chance. if you do everything correctly, you have a CHANCE to beat him.
SkylerMakai
We got HM SOA on first attempt. Used a 2nd Tank to help taunt to get him in possition in P3. Only missed 1 pillar and all of the pillars that hit broke his shield. RNG was in our favor tonight. After DPS phase bing him back to the center and wait for next pillar while group dps's mind traps. Taunt after he cast mind trap to regain aggro.
CasualQuick
K, so after you wipe RESET before zoning in. When you get to phase three, have everyone use their reduce threat skill as soon as the boss appears. Through this method our tank has not had any issues holding aggro on the boss
Jaxy
Thankfully this is down as fixed for the next patch, no doubt there will be an whole heap of new bugs to make us cry when it lands.
Demarcc
We one shot Soa again, but yes he did flake out and run after our GS. Our GS had the brains to run him towards the falling pillar though and break the shield so was'ent a huge issue. Irritating for us healers? Sure. Game breaking? naw. DasanShinn
The pylons are not always breaking his shield and we all saw it fall on top of him. This needs to be fixed, the aggro and the pylons not taking his shield off.

Mind trapped a healer, drops agro, healer gets agro from hots, Soa despawns. This fight is the buggiest fight I have ever healed. Between pillars just not working, Soa despawns, invisible nameless lightning balls, and lightning balls that do somewhere between 6-25k damage depending on the direction of the wind (in nightmare, and yes we run dead into them. You don't see multiple ticks, just random damage between 6 and 25k.) Please, for god sakes, fix this fight. Also, fix Battle rez. It is depressing when its more reliable for our scoundrel to vanish + normal rez than for us to be able to battle rez. The 'Ability is not ready yet' when we haven't used it for 15 minutes is bull.
