Rawestforest Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I've gotten tired of Jedi classes and want a change. I'm looking for a class that's fun to roleplay as and fun to play. Also, what's tanking like here?
Daekarus Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 in my opinion, it depends on what you enjoy. the trooper is immersed in military culture, and a strict command structure. she salutes her superiors and gives orders, and goes on missions for the republic specifically. from a little bit I have played, the smuggler is totally different. he is a total wise ***, somebody who gets [flirt] action all the time, and has comical scenes where many of the other characters do not. they also play very differently, with the trooper wearing heavy armor and the smuggler wearing medium armor, and the cover mechanic which changes everything. My bet is that the smuggler is harder.
xeviltoasterx Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I haven't played either yet, but I'm assuming if you're looking to tank you should go trooper. I don't think any form or spec of smuggler is meant for any sort of tanking. Both have good damage capabilities though. Others will have much more knowledge for you
