VoidJustice Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) The meter range on guard can be difficult to manage in pvp due to the highly mobile nature of pvp. Sentinals have good dps but need a bit more and a bit more survivability to get the job done. Sents also have leaps like guardians allowing the two to stay together as if by ... the force! Threfore, if you can find another knight in the opposite specilization work together in pvp and you can eliminate the concerns about having guard go down due to the need to leap at a foe. Sentinals with guard on them and situational use of taunts by a guardian can keep both alive and killing at a super fast rate. The sentinal brings the pain in the duo covering the Guardians lack of DEEEEPEEEESSSSS and making the two work together like a killing whirling sawblade of doom. In addition to this the combined dps output of a sentinal and a guardian can kill just about any target at light speed especially when that target is singled out away from their team by force push. The strat works best when you cherry pick your targets. One knight jumps in. Pushes the target out to the other knight waitting at, near or behind the friendly line. Then the jumping knight who just used force push can jump back again to the kill zone. Both knights can now easily kill the opponent with far less interfearence from the enemy team. OBVIOUSLY YOU MUST EXECUTE THIS AFTER THE LION SHARE OF YOUR TEAM IS ENGAGED IN BATTLE. DO NOT RUN BLINDLY AT THE ENEMY IN FRONT OF YOUR TEAM. (If you two run in first your gonna get gigga CC'd and killed like flies) hang back a bit wait for the first few shots then go single out a healer or heavy dps. The enemy team mostly ranged now must decide to move in a jumbled mess giving your team a positional advantage to focus fire down an additional target or simply allow their teammate to get instagibbed by the Guardian Sent team. Most are cowardly, so that target you pulled to your teams front line is most likely dead. Meanwhile the sentinal and guardian are in easy healing range of their own team. After two kills rotating your pushes. Force push will be down for both and you can begin working the edge of the enemy line as a team, retreating for healing as needed. However once a kill imbalance begins it can roll over the enemy team quickly. If the rest of your team can simply survive the time it takes to take down two of the enemy things are going to move in your favor quickly. I've found this to be a very very successful way to win in WZ's where believe it or not you DO have to kill enemies before completing objectives. If ANYONE on your team heals either of you... this becomes an insanely effective... Even without healing thou the Sentinal Guardian duo can get ALOT of work done quickly May the Force Be with You I hope this helps... Edited February 10, 2012 by VoidJustice
