Comfterbilly Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Maybe this thread is a better place to post this: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=2705486#post2705486 Re: "I find the idea of finding six [edit: 4] plus people to sign up for group WZ que to be extremely lame, and also boring. There is always some douche on the keyboard whining, trying to run the same plays over and over, it is retarded. They like it that's fine. Other players should have an option not to have to play with group que in WZ." premades would cry if u did this they'd have nobody to steamroll all the time There should be a rated random WZ, i.e. only allow single queues. It would be nice for solo queue players not to have to go up against Pre-mades, but I can imagine the same thing would happen here as happened in Rift. Teams just get together on vent, teamspeak or whatever, and co-ordinate pressing the "solo queue" button. That way, they mostly all end up in the same warzone anyway, and haven't queued as a group. For same faction WZs, this just means you're likely to face half of your friends. I'm pretty sure the same faction WZ is not first come first serve, but rather it attempts to rebalance the first 16 guys in some way. For different faction WZs, you're just as likely to have 3 guys queued in one game and 5 guys in another since you have absolutely no idea how many more people is needed to launch the next game. I guess you can hit quit if you don't all see the 'enter WZ' screen but let's say you're trying to squeeze 8 people together. Statistically speaking, it'd take you 8 tries to get all 8 people in the same WZ while single queueing since it'd only work if you happen to queue at the moment nobody else is in the queue. So if people want to waste that much time to try to simulate a premade, go for it. It wouldn't work for Huttball anyway. Let premades play premades. They deserve each others' company.
