NathanRohl Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed this, but here is my question: If you map a shortcut companion's ability beyond the 4th action on the toolbar, in order to use that shortcut, you must have the companion's toolbar open at all times. I need to be able to control what my tank is doing, but only really need to control 1 or 2 abilities. It would be great to be able to: A: Be able to use keyboard shortcuts without the corresponding toolbar being open or expanded at the time the shortcut is used. B: Be able to change the order of the companion's abilities. *I really hope you guys didn't hard code the position of a particular companion skill thereby making it impossible for the skill to be moved or the AI won't function* C: (And this is just an idea that I thought would be fun) Could you add in a tactics menu like you did for Dragon Age? I've noticed that companions act using a specific set up AI tactics, but I would love to be able to change those tactics to better use my companion. This would allow my companion to conform to my play-style and not the other way around. Thats all I have. Anyone who agrees, or has any other suggestions please speak up! Thanks for reading
Aarondil Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Completely agree! Each single point you made is reasonable and would give you more control when going around with your companion. Especially the third one, that could nearly make the other two useless
Mironov Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I, personally never care about using my companion's skills besides switching them on and off as needed, but different tactics for each companion is what I would like to see.
Mironov Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 It would be perfect, if the tactics system was like in FFXII, where you can program them, at what point you need them to dps or switch to healing or defence, when to stay at maximum range and when in close quarters etc... One can wish...
