GZ BW, you've ruined end-game PvP.

The latest patch has given Champion Bags 15 Centurion Commendations + 7 Champion Commendations. This is FAR too much.

'Why? U MAD BRO? Scared you'll have to gain some skill now? TROLOLOL!'

No.

Why this is far too much is because most people hit L50 at around rank 20 - 30 Valor. A lot of people even less than that, still being in the teens. Up until Rank 50 Valor, the levelling is FAST. And then it starts going up exponentially. By almost throwing gear at people now this will leave the majority of people with no incentive other than to grind Valor in 3 WZs for weeks if not months. Weeks and months of seeing no improvement or change to your character ... is that what you want?

The hardcore player w/ premades and a liberal dosage of Redbull will usually take around 12 hours to go from Rank 59-60 Valor. Adding up all the levels between 50 and 60 and you're looking at a couple of weeks for even the most hardcore nerds. What I predict will be a significant drop off when people hit their full Champion gear or a few pieces short - because the step up from Champion to BM gear really isn't much at all and many who work or have other commitments such as children, girlfriends, like fresh air etc. won't be able to justify spending that time for long-long off and such little gains.

'So you want it to go back to old system??'

No. I think the random spawning Champion gear was an awful idea. Especially when some would get lucky and get new pieces all the time and others would get duplicates, sometimes even duplicates of gear their AC couldn't even use such as off-hand blaster for PowerTechs or a dual-lightsabre for Sorcs. The change I would have made would be to have 6 Centurion Commendations per bag and 2-3 Champion Commendations per bag. Essentially, that's more than double what we were getting before. 5 X the amount of Cents and 7 Champ Coms as well?

What you gain easily, you value the least.

What else would I have changed?

I would have put some Expertise into pre-50 PvP gear so the landing wouldn't have been so rough for new L50 players. I'd have also addressed the issues of lack of variety by bringing forth the release of a new WZ and addressing the problems of faction imbalance (if you think they don't have a few WZs saved up then you're a fool. 5years for 3 = 20 months per current WZ ... LOLage).

I would make sure that in WZs the Wins actually COUNT. Why is this too difficult for you, BW? Obviously there are some more casual players who can only spare a tops of 2 hours per night doing the Dailys. Why not UP the spawn rate of Munitions in Ilum's Central Assault and DROP the cap to 15. It's boring, repetitive and has nothing to do with PvP apart from encourage you to go to a 'PvP World' area that's usually barren of any PvPing because of the faction imbalances on most servers. For something as mind-numbing as driving around in circles, 15 pick ups should be more than enough and take not more than 20 mins to achieve.

I'd look to bring out leaderboards, stat. Who's the best DPS/ Healer on my server for a certain expertise bracket? Who's scored the most in Huttball in the last few days or week? Why not reward them with something? Give the guilds some meaning - things like guild banks shouldn't be add-ons as you go along, this stuff should be base on release. Get with it, BW.

What I WOULDN'T have done - give in to the casual gamers to this degree. This is a quick-fix solution that just makes me think you've looked at the forums, thought '****, that's a lot of angry nerds ... what do we do??' - 'Go for plan-B, Brian' (I dunno where I got Brian from :D) 'Plan-B? You can't be seri-' - '****, Brian! I said plan-B ... give them free sh*t ... LOTS OF FREE SH*T!'

Some of you may say '****, f*gget! You're only worried that you'll have to rely on skill and not gear!'

My response - This game requires NO skill. It's about experience and work-rate in the WZs to do well. Pre-L50 I expected to hit top DPS score in my matches. Post-L50 it took me a day or 2 before I was again expecting to hit the top each match. Why? I love my character, enjoy playing him and I don't stop moving. If I'm in Alderan WZ I get my 1/3K Defense medals by actually defending, not sat lazily on a turret with another couple of scrubs whilst our team is 2 turrets down like I see so many do. I bust my ***. If I am beat consistently it is usually by either a much better player or a BM who has an equal, if not higher work-rate.

If you have at least 100 expertise and still aren't doing well it's because you're a bad player and blaming someone's gear past this expertise mark is a weak and cr*p excuse for your lack of ability. These are the kind of players who don't see any issue with the CC-spam from DPS players because they consider their target not being able to fight back for up to 8-10seconds a 'fair' fight.

Anyway, my suggestions are above that'll accomodate more casual gamers as well as giving new L50s an easier ride at first and to try and promote greater longevity (spelling?) to the end-game for PvPers. Currently, I believe BW took the cheap route and it'll be detrimental for keeping subs when they find hitting BM little incentive with no 'stepping stones' along the way because they'll have all their Champion gear within a few days of hitting 50.

If you get butt-hurt by these suggestions then I can only assume you're 'one of those types', anyways.

Thanks.

Pea Soup. ;)
