Should I move to another server?

Hello Guys!

 

I'm looking at Republic Fleet population on my server and it's killing me. it's 10.24PM UTC+3 and I see 70 ppl there and only 30 of them are lvl50. There are 11 men on Ilum, 11 on Hoth, 15 on Belsavis, 6 on Corellia.

 

I had no groop since Balmorra because there are 10-15 men on planet.

I'm unable to run flashpoints because there are 1-2 groups at moment.

I saw 50s running hard modes only twice and they were the same men.

 

I'm lvl 44 Commando, have Valor rank 17(started PvPing recently) and it's not too late to change a server. Not in guild. Nothing holds me here(exept time spent )

 

I've walked through 5 PvP servers that are loaded HEAVY or VERY HEAVY. Here are some numbers(Server - Load - Republic Fleet lvl 50s population- Ilum pop. - Hoth pop.):

Starstorm One - HEAVY - RF 69 - Ilum 30 - Hoth 20

Bloodworthy - HEAVY - RF 55 - Ilum - 44 - Hoth 15

Basilisk Droid - HEAVY - RF 72 - Ilum - 69 - Hoth 20

Legions of Lettow - VERY HEAVY - RF >100 - Ilum - 72 - Hoth 31

Tomb of Freedon Nadd - highest numbers seems that there is no need to comment

 

I'm playing on The Shadow Runner since December 29

So, as I said, it's not too late to move out of here. I have not too much goods, have no battlemaster or rakata(and obviously will not have it for a long time with such low population)

 

Please, can someone enspire me to start it from scratch or talk out of leaving this server!?

Because I feel that it's not good way to go.

 

Any server-to-choose suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, my advice would be to reroll. Game companies are notoriously slow to fix server populations, so in my experience the best thing to do if you realise you are on a low pop server is abandon it and re-roll elsewhere.

 

If you aren't willing to abandon your character completely, start an alt on a high pop server and see if you like playing there better. If you do, just play that character more. Choose a different class so you are not re-doing the same content.

 

Now, the low pop server that your "main" is on might in future get merged with another one, or perhaps BW will allow server transfers. So you will then be able to pick up that character again, and you will have lost nothing.

Come to Jung Ma, it's heavily populated on both sides. GTN on both sides are great for credits too. Sell gathering stuff easily to make some starting credits fast. Pvp wz matches are almost instant on Empire and under 3 minutes on Republic. Night and day no matter the time, the population is great. Edited February 8, 2012 by Tiam
