EternalFinality
I think this "9k bubble nonsense" stemmed from Sorcs who double bubbled themselves and stupid people not noticing that this occurred. Oh and guard. Sorc + guard + double bubble = 9k absorbed. More than that, actually.
Wassawp
preventing non heal-spec sorcs or sage to cast the bubble on allies would be a good begining...
Sirolos
preventing non heal-spec sorcs or sage to cast the bubble on allies would be a good begining... making it so ABSORB effects dont count toward healing would be even better.
CommandoPower
While what you are saying is true, it is also true of every single point of healing you receive. Every point of mitigation you have increases your effective health, and thereby the value of healing on you, by the same degree. If I have 0% mitigation and you have 50% mitigation, every point of hp you have is worth 50% more, and every point of healing you receive is worth 50% more. Absolutely true. It's one reason there is so much contention atm about healing atm. Bubbles are more useful in that they PREVENT damage and that they are instant and very efficient in general, but healing faces the same dilemma.
