AHierophant
Tython is supposedly "hidden" so only the Jedi know how to reach it. This was ostensibly done so that the Sith couldn't finish their Jedi genocide. Yet, my Smuggler knows where it is, and can visit it. How can this be? If a random Smuggler and an elite special forces unit commander knows where it is, then nearly anyone would know. The Sith could easily discover the location, either by less-than-noble Smugglers or tracking a Trooper vessel. FYI: I realize why the planet is available as far as the gameplay is concerned, since those two classes would need to visit Tython for datacrons or lore exploration. I just wonder what lore explanation is used to justify allowing those two other classes access to Tython.
LyriaFrost
Your smuggler knows about it because smugglers are just that good at prying out "secret" information. A little hint here, a nugget of information there, pieced together and viola, you can figure out where it is. As for the special forces knowing where it is? They've got infiltration and black-ops specialists working for them. I'd assume they'd know everything. About everyone. Including you. Carry on, citizen. JLazarillo
C2-N2 is the galaxy's first(?) Jedi droid. The combat uselessness thing is just an act. As such, it's only natural that he'd know the location of the Jedi's secret home planet, and in a particularly eager-to-serve moment, he may have blabbed. LukeDanger
Maybe the (light side) Smuggler is bringing some Force Sensitives to the planet or doing something for the Jedi? IIRC, by the end of their arc the Light Side smuggler in particular is pretty much Han Solo to the Republic. Troopers... you can always justify that as someone knowing that when the Jedi take command a la the Clone Wars in a renewed Galactic War with the Empire, the Jedi will need military training. Force Powers =/= maturity/ability to lead. The Trooper could be going there to train some Jedi in command techniques and possibly knock some of them down a peg to kick the arrogence out of them (IE, a Vanguard pwning an arrogant student who thinks the Force automatically makes them superior by fighting them in close quarters, the Jedi's own game). But yeah, it's probably just mechanical for the most part.

(Do you see the planet form the station? Yes? Dammit.)

Girdeux
Actually the Sith DO know where Tython is too. In the JK storyline they actually attack it.... This, Darth Angral nearly destroys Tython. If Angral knows where it is then the Emperor would know aswell... among countless others.
