- When do we see more diverse looking armor for our characters?

Before the release there was always the speaches about the wall of sets for every classes, even shown on photos and videos. But in the game there is only a few in various color versions.

Here's my question:

 

It seems, in SWTOR, you have chosen to use the same system for both PvE and PvP. For example, if an ability does 2500 damage in PvE, it will do 2500 in PvP, assuming the attacker and defender have equal expertise. The obvious benefit is that players can expect one ability to work the same way in any setting, but this has often been a criticized method of balance because it can have unintended side-effects. Nerf one class in PvP, they can become bottom tier in PvE and vice versa. We've seen it in many MMOs in the past. It just seems like so much more work than to have two separate systems!

 

Can you go into further explanation as to why your development team chose to do this?
