ryathal
We can't use Jawa because Blizz is a jawa and he is f***ing awesome. I'm all for Vorcha, they suck Or better yet. Snooki. "This guy is just a Snooki" "This is clearly an attempt to Snooki the forums" Snooki won't work, trolls have dignity
Jett-Rinn
Can we use another term to describe someone who is causing trouble? The term "Troll" seems very EQ and needs to be updated to fit our game. How about "Jawa" ? He is just another Jawa.... This post is nothing but a Jawa attempt... etc How about Astroturfer Paid Shill Viral marketer Compensated forum warrior really I got a million of em
Skoll
Trolls have existed in forums long before EQ. Its a derivitive of trolling, a method of catching fish. What he said.

Cancrizans
I love how like four people have pointed out that the phrase has nothing to do with the mythical troll, but originates from the term trolling in fishing, which is to drag a line with bait or a lure behind a moving boat in an attempt to get fish to bite, just as forum trolls drag a tantalizing statement through the forums in an attempt to get forum readers to bite... Yet you guys keep on making whacky suggestions based on the misinformation in the OP. Edited February 3, 2012 by Cancrizans

Dukibritches
No No..... you are all wrong..... henceforth Trolls in SWTOR shall be referred to as Gamorreans. The are both distinctly large and ugly creatures.

Drudenfusz
I keep calling them Trolls... it has nothing to do with Star Wars what they (and occasionally I'm myself) are doing, so no reason to give that a Star Wars name.

Apax
How about "somone with an opinion that differs from mine", since that's usually where most of the troll labels get thrown to. Edited February 3, 2012 by Apax

Let's not go insulting Jawas like that ok? monkey Lizard is more appropriate. Like Salacious Crumb. All that little **** did was laugh at people but ultimately it was a harmless muppet. Maybe Jar Jar, he was essentially trolling Star Wars for three prequels. then again so was George Lucas Edited February 3, 2012 by Fiachsidhe
Aurrelio
Hi there! While we appreciate the suggestion, we do ask that all new posts here in General Discussion be on-topic and relevant to Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. With that in mind, we have closed this thread. As a friendly reminder, the best way to avoid getting trolled is to report the Jawa's post using the "Flag" feature, rather than responding in kind. Thanks!
