Torothin
Reached BM and then canceled sub(bored of the gear grind). If things change I am open to coming back. This game really lacks end-game PvP content. if you disagree with me then soon enough you will see. I'm not one to roll m multiple classes. Back to Eve-Online I go! Dogfatherxx
As a BM myself, I am inclined to agree. Playing the same three WZs every day is just boring no matter how you look at it. Hopefully PVP will be expanded greatly in the future.

If you have a TON of free time and play your butt off, expect to outpace the release of content. 2. If you pvp for purely the gear then you're not a pvper... pvpers pvp for the simple fact of pvping. 3. The game is 6 weeks old... it has 60 valor lvls to grind, which for most will take a good amount of time. Again, if you have nothign to do but play 12 hours a day, I suggest going outside and expect to be ahead of the content curve.

goxwerd
sadly when will people realize that when you try to hardcore pvp a pve game it is not a full time game. not sure how this is a surprise to people still. Its like every MMO that is pvp focus'd always says the same crap. "We will have and support pvp" "there will be a ton for a pvper to do" etc. Then the pvpers eat it up and seem to read into it that yeah they will add all the pvp i could ever dream of into the game. WRONG. it never happens. Wow got close and the arena pvp bandaid kept all the pvp epeens happy at the expense of ever having to add anything that could grow the pvp base. Rift just did a bad job of what wow did, Tor is doing an even worse job. Sadly the reality is this. If you want to pvp in a pve game the best you will ever get is a rated arena type setting with 3ish instanced battlegrounds. If you want any pvp besides that, open world pvp, RVR, keep sieges then you will need to actually play a less popular pvp focus'd mmo. All that said ToR's pvp content is probably the worst i have ever seen in a game that offers pvp so i am a bit surprised. Kyrkur
let me rephrase. I PvP for MEANINGFUL pvp. back to Eve-Online I go! I'm curious, what makes Eve-Online PvP MEANINGFUL? Also, did you participate in Kill-Trading on Ilum to hit Battlemaster?
Torothin
Player influenced map. if you kill someone they lose their stuff and you get some of it. Player influenced economy, player controlled areas, better overall player interaction, 1 single server. Eve-Online is the king with regards to pvP and overall end game mechanics because it's a sand box.
Treplos
The only good PVP I've had was in GW, and perhaps at some point in Warhammer . Othersise, DOTA style games, like League of Legends, are probably better for such things, until GW2 is out anyway. You should have known a year or more ago that you would not have liked SWTOR then. Also, can you not control Ilum? Or if you play on a PvP server, could you not deny the other faction from effectively leveling on their 2 last planets? There are more things to do in this games in regards to PvP than to hit Battlemaster for gear. Edited February 2, 2012 by Kyrkur

slonep
I'm so sick of ppl posting that they're leaving. GO! This game's just so new... What do you expect? **** dude. 30 daysish! Do you expect daily patch fixes? Do you expect the devs to respond to all of the hundreds of threads and worthless QQs posted in the forums daily? I think this is herd mentality. Players come to the forums frustrated that they're not able to complete the game in the way they choose within 30 days of realease, see everyone else complaining about the same thing, and fall in line QQing about all the massive problems and game breaking things and stuffs. The game's fine. It's like a car. Are there problems with my car I could fix right now? Yes. Do I NEED to? No. My car runs fine right now. When I have time do I wash it? Wax it? Vacuum it? In what order do I do those things? If something major happens I'll prolly fix that first before I install a turbo or body kit. If people look at my car and say, "That color's aweful, you should paint that." should I simply go and get it painted? It's my car. I'll make sure it's ok. So will Bioware.
