Smerte
Infiltration Circling Shadows: Now requires the purchase of the Shadow Technique skill. Shadow Technique must be active in order to trigger the Circling Shadows buff. This skill now also triggers from Spinning Strike. This basically means the hybrid use of Kinetic / Infiltration spec, will be total garbage. Even though the hybrid spec was not per se better then for instance the Kinetic / balance hybrid, Bioware has decided to nerf it down. Nooo... this basically means every hybrid assassin / shadow has way less options available. We will not be weaker, we will be very solid pvpers, but I personally foresee only less and less viable builds. Less differentiation... bleh I personally will now switch to the Kinetic / Balance hybrid most likely.... maybe maybe will get slow time, because it works as intended now with Harnessed Shadows. This one I will actually agree with...It completely kills those few that went kinetic/infy (which out of the hybrids was the one I actually thought was a alot stronger then 23/0/18)...The changes in the balance tree really do not effect the kinetic/balance specs, though they are acting as its the end of the world...the changes to the balance tree where because if you went balance, and went CT....a tank and had the highest dps (I knew it didnt make sense, and those few that tried it knew how powerful it was). Will have to play with changes to see what makes sense...
Bionixx
Oh OH! I have the solution. Don't use hybrid specs. They are inferior in every way.
Smerte
Oh OH! I have the solution. Don't use hybrid specs. They are inferior in every way. My pvp experience tells me otherwise. Just watch my video for instance to get an impression of what the build is capable of. Kinetic / Infiltration was for general purpose way better then either pure kinetic or pure infiltration. It depends on your class, but shadows have very viable hybrid specs. Edited February 2, 2012 by Smerte
AstralFire
Oh OH! I have the solution. Don't use hybrid specs. They are inferior in every way. They -will- be inferior in every way in 1.1.2. Prior to 1.1 they were ridiculously superior to pure specs except for Infiltration, and people have been slow to adopt pure Kinetic builds even though I feel that Slow Time is better a PvP spec than KinBal.
