Modable version of this unique outfit?

Hi fellow smugglers,

I have this [green] helm and jacket, and I want to know if there's a modable version of them. If so, how hard is it to obtain the pattern? (I don't know the exact name since I can't log in right now).

I got them at around level 20 though, from quests.

I think they're very unique. Kind of gypsy/native american. A little flamboyant, yes, but worth it for looking different.

there is, but not in those colors. I believe it drops in athiss or mando raiders.

I just looked at the loot tables for both, and didn't see it. Are you sure it was from those?

Perhaps it was hammer station then... Its one of those early flashpoints between esseless and cadimimu

I dont remember the name, but yes, there's definitely a custom version of the mexican look outfit, it's been on the GTN.

The drop is the Hammer Lookout's Jacket. Forget what the craftable is called. Both are in a horrific color pattern.

 

Also, it appears with the colors in the pic as the third Consular companion's default chest armor.

You get that one from an evooki (or whatever they are called... guys with less hair and strange nose) on Nar Shaddaa, I believe. Quest rescuing some guys or so. Was some time I did that, and am not at home right now to check my cargo hold.

 

The helmet you're getting in white on Hoth, several times acutally, from commendations and class quest.

There's a white version of the helmet from the Hoth Equipment Commendation Vendor.

 

There's a version of that chest in bizarre blue/orange/green/brown colour combo from 'Trouble In Deed' Heroic 4 quest reward in Coruscant Justicar territory.

Yeah I've looked and never found anything. Unfortunately my server's pretty low-pop.

I do have a friend with armormech so knowing the name I guess I could look for patterns.

OK, this had confused me because I did see Hammer Lookout's jacket, but when I looked it up all I found was some "imperial looking" stuff: http://www.torhead.com/item/8cruxyE/hammer-lookouts-jacket#screenshots

I'm guessing that's for the Empire version of Hammer, by they should specify gear with (e) and ® if they're gonna make the same stuff look that much different.

I remember doing that quest but I don't remember getting that jacket from it. Maybe the helm... or something? As for the helmet, too bad there's not a matching one designed for the jacket, but I guess white would work OK. Thanks!

So does that mean that there is no other modable version of that helm before Hoth? I had thought they'd make one to match the coat.

Also I did do the Trouble In Deed quest way back when and don't remember getting something like this. Was it a boss drop but not a quest reward?

(aquired as a reward - not sure when, I think early on on Tatooine. The Hammer Lookout's Jacket dropped in Hammer Station Flashpoint by second boss. Also through Armormech crafting the Spec Ops Jacket with slightly different pattern)

This is the most help so far in that it gives the actual name. I've done all the early Tatooine quests heroics, and never got that, so I'm confused. As I said above, googling Hammer Lookout's Jacket yeilded this: http://tor.zamimg.com/torhead/uploads/images/8624.jpg. And if anyone can provide the Spec Ops Jacket screenshot, that would be great.

So thanks for the help everyone. I'm guessing I should hit Hammer Station first then, and kill that 2nd boss? Unless I know a specific quest from Tatooine it came from so I can see if I missed that one somehow. I'll also try to get ahold of that pattern, though it's apparently different somehow?

I am going through Heroics on all planets again, so if you are a bit patient, I'll eventually get the right heroic

Been fooling around in those flashpoints I can solo trying to check for smuggler drops.

I'll head to Nar Shadaa now. Maybe the drop was from there.

The Imperial version of the Hammer jacket actually looks good. The Republic one looks like it was designed by a colorblind terrorist Scotsman. But YMMV.

 

I believe the Spec Ops jacket is one of the ones that drops from mission skill crits, usually for the other faction. It's level 27, so people might actually put it up at the Nar GTN...

Drops from FP's such as Hammer Station have an "Imperial" version and a "Republic" version. The pictures you googled of the Hammer Lookut's Jacket are the Imperial version. When worn by a member of the Republic it looks like the jacket you originally posted in a different color scheme.
