First off thanks for putting out a great game with a solid storyline and alot of possible features to expand the game on.

 

The game really needs and should not have been put out without some basic features common to mmo's these days.

 

1. Fully customizable UI. Every part and piece should be movable these days.

2. Frame minimize features. Sucks to bounce out of windows when you open something up.

[Ex:Open crew skills closes the auction window etc]

3. Auction items should show if you currently have said item to eliminate accidental purchases.

4. Trade Hub needs far better filters. The ability to sort by class/stat etc. 2 of 20 pages of armor usable etc.

5. Warzone AFK timers too short. Sometimes I and other folks get booted from match in progress before the screen even loads.

6. Warzone in match afk timers, if your not in battle for x amount of time you get a timer then eventually booted. (eliminate those pesky afk'ers)

7. Tooltips that will actually show companion gear if selected. (when you mouse over an item it will only show your gear, handy to have the option to show companions)

8. Dunno if this is possible but add a fog of war to help bad PC users. Customizable by the user so you could eliminate tons of space in say a warzone and increase fps/functionality.

9. World PVP objectives maybe for reward or for just title or special use of something for the time of control of say an area.

10. Guild achievements of sorts. Create bonus' for guild personel use to make them more attractive and also get folks to band together to raise their own guilds status. etc. (heirarchy of sorts.

11. A large part of the movie's had to do with space combat. I know it is early but if you guys manage to get that aspect in the game you will have effectively done something no other game has done. Well swg somewhat but it's dead, Eve is close but still a ways off having 1st person and ship combat etc. A warzone where folks are fighting to take down obstacles like in the old nintendo game or the first movie...granted free moving space combat would be a huge undertaking but so worth it in terms of your future.

I know there are a ton more things but these are the basics I am noticing the game could use as most games these days should step up their features to match their competition. I am enjoying the lack of macros though they have some use.

12. Multiple savable specs, switchable on the fly maybe? Or at least switchable OOC>

It's nice to see a constructive post for a change. I support the majority of these changes, especially the ones related to the UI and tooltips. Though, if you've seen the preview video for the March content push you know that it is at least being worked on since that patch is going to allow us to move and resize UI elements. Sure, it's not a total solution, but it's a huge step in the right direction.

1 & 2 are ready for implementation more or less. Looks sweet on presentation video

 

7 I got this too but only on stuff that has not been used yet or if the companion dont have anything in the slot. Probably a minor bug and solved soon.

 

8. You can almost do this by setting Texture LOD in applications like Radeonpro

I have not tried that myself but changing the value should soften up the hardware requirements (as well as kill it if you extend the LOD to great lengths. Everything will look very detailed over longer distance but it will be hell to draw up :)

Ahh great and thanks for looking it over guys. I had not seent he video but will check it out asap. I just figured this day in age with how far mmo's have come in general that folks will tend to give more leeway to bad items if some feature comforts are there.

 

And yes, I like the game and really want to see it stay around! Just trying to help in my own lil 2cp way!

This is already ingame, you can find it in your option menu under UI i think. It will than show your gear and the gear of your active companion when you mouse over items.
