sanctified
I thought it was good, personally. It was validating to know I could one-shot it at level 47 with my immortal Juggernaut. The first round was simple, the second round was a pretty hectic affair, what with the burning floors and the emperor's voice thing. But I was three levels under for it, so naturally I'd have a tougher time with it. I kind of get the feeling that if you did it at level 50, it wouldn't have been quite so intense. For those of you who did it at 50, was it yay or nay? Personally, I thought it was a really good conclusion, and I liked the villain so much that I really struggled with the decision to kill him. In the end, I had to do the Sith thing, naturally, but it was a close call. Poor little dough boy. Edited February 2, 2012 by sanctified
Saery
I wanted to kill Baras since my level 20 or so, so it was easy call for me. Cant even say how many times he told me I am arrogant in cut scenes! And about difficulty of fight on 50 - with my marauder in gear just from quests, it was just fine. Not a faceroll, but didnt die. Fight seemed tuned ok to me. Used Quinn.
Urukkhan
Fight was easy for my immortal jug and treacherous scum as a backup, (I was dressed in half epic/ half blue custom armour) but I like the ending this is how things must be done by sith way among the sith. DarthVindictus
He was easier than Cyber-Lord Draagh, mostly because unlike Baras or the first form of Lord Draagh, I couldn't choke and throw him around, which is a core strategy of mine against elites. But that kill animation at the end was so satisfying, way better than the "I feel so cheated" SI ending.
Hizoka
it was WAY TOO EASY. It was a massive letdown after fighting the last guy in the JK story, who is easily 10 times harder to beat solo.
KVork
Well to easy? Maybe if you play a lot thus have high skil/efficiency and use backup. I am not a regular mmo player, tor is my first, but got my share of tetrises (in sepia on Hercules ) and arcanoids across the ages, and first attempt on final fight, on 50 lev Jugg Immortal, mostly 47-49 purple gear, was hard enaugh. Whole scene and fight were GREAT. Easy, too easy... maybe it was meant to be playable for ALL players, not only MMO experienced, assuming they use healer companion and will be equiped in green/blue 50 lev (rate=/<116). Without companion namely one miss with interrupt in second stage (multi-kilo chanelled punches) meant almost certain death in final result . Concluding, being little overgeared and knowing my class quite well (i did my homework on playing tank warrior), NOT USING A COMPANION (that damn traitor, till end of days he will clean my Fury's plumbing) i found this fight to be rather chalenging, not to say straight difficult. I managed on third aproach running on Endure Pain in last moments. It was on the edge. So , it is to easy? Try it without quinn, mano per mano with your former Master. And see if it is still dissapointing. K'Vork PS. Sorr for grammar and typos, I am not native speaker , moreover I cant check text on this particular PC. PS2. DinnerYeti
yeah the Draagh or however you spell his name, fight was soooooo much harder for me (immortal jugg). I died a lot in that fight....i would get him down to around 8% and just be out of tricks. The closest i got was with Jaesa and me just kiting him, but eventually i got withered down to nothing. Not being able to stun, knockdown etc made it tough. I ended up having to get a buddy to help. As for the Baras fight, cake walk with Jaesa. I never liked quinn much, so i rarely used him....and then after what the little ****bag did, i never wanted to use him again. for bioware: Give us the option of tossing companions out of our ship's airlock....especially if we are dark side attuned. So.. maybe Baras' second form (mask off) should be immune to CC's stuns and push like Cyber Lord Draagh. That'd balance it I think. I managed to one shot Cyber Lord Draagh but it was really close. Baras basically got ragdolled around.
SamBo-xD
So easy at level 50, carnage marauder. Was a massive let down tbh, one the easiest elite fights throughout the entire game i thought, I enjoyed the whole story, but I think it would of been much better if I was tearing my hair out for an hour or 2 trying to kill Baras rather than one shotting him. I didnt even break a sweat
satelliteexile
Lord Draagh: (Or Darth Sion 2.0) 7 wipes, I was playing with 500 lat. When they say "Performance may be degraded", they're not kidding. I fixed my connection then died two more times. Baras: One shot. Quinn even went down from the Emperor's voice somewhere in there and I was still fine. Guess letting Darth Traya loose really did screw Baras over. I found draahg to be way easier. If you interrupt him, and stay out of the lightning, I killed him in 1 shot. Baras was I think a tad more difficult. Draahg just seems like he is harder because he cannot be CCed as much. But you can actually just burn him with a Dual DPS setup, which is what I used. Jaesa + me (carnage Marauder). I just went all out popped offensive and defensive cooldowns, and he died relatively easy. Because Baras is a multi part fight, you cannot just burn all cooldowns and hope to burn him through. RawlsRorty
You don't get to brag about how easy the fight was if you used dirty backstabbing scumbag. I used Jaesa and one-shot him with just a sliver of life left. Thought he was much tougher than Drahg who I one shot twice.
sanctified
How do you figure that was Darth Traya? It isn't Traya. She knew the Emperor personally, and was apparently 'close' to him.

I was using a really low end vid card and had all kinds of graphics lag, so I laid off it for a couple days. Got a new Vid Card in the mail yesterday, and did the second round much much easier. Also Use Quinn! He makes it much easier to survive, I turned off most his attacks except Carbon Freeze and kept Baras on the opposite end of the room (and away from Quinn) from where you start as much as possible. RustedAngel
I had a hard time between 48/49 trying to disrupt the emperor's voice channel in the second phase. I'm not sure if my disrupt just wasn't landing or if he was resisting... but I wasn't able to do it till lvl 50, but by then it was a walk in the park. Don't watch if you want to be surprised: http://youtu.be/01vTP3e1R3E Edited February 10, 2012 by RustedAngel
