Juda - Nem'ros' little secretary

I had a lapse of jugdement and let Juda get away with her interference in the Great hunt, yet now she sends me angry letters that I should have killed her.

At least the few times I try to be nice, I wouldn't mind getting the credit, but no, I squeezed her and she's now indebted to Nem'ro with her mother...

So far I've enjoyed the class quests, but this one seem to be misbehaving, I let her off and let her get away with a copy of the hit list which she can sell or use for great profit and I'm the bad, bad Bounty Hunter which ruined her life...

A miss in the quest, or what's up with that?

yeah that quest is bugged, if you choose the greedy path, you get the same letter as if you had chosen darkside path........ personally i liked juda so i chose the lightside path with her and got the nice letter.

If you got a kick out of her letter though.... you'll love getting the death threat emails from jedi masters later on....... they're a real hoot.

As said, found it rather interesting to see that when I let her get away clean, I get told to "go die", so much for helping out, being good is hard... :rod_confused_g: No wonder the darkside is strong...

It's a bug, nothing to do with dark or light side.

On the funny side of things I did not do either. My BH went in thinking it was Taro and shot everyone still cursing Taro and spoke with Juda/the Huntmaster still assuming it was Taro. Didn't even question anyone or have Juda's name come up.

Still got the hate letter :>

Too bad it's on the class related quests, which one should think would be close to bug-free. At least such a "large" one :)

pff thats actually extremely minor compared to some of the bugs that were in the bounty hunters main storyline

there have already been numerous fixes to much more severe bugs since launch to this quest line

several were game breaking, as in: choose a particular choice and you could not play that character again without having it reset by customer service

there are still several which are annoying, and may require multiple reattempts to finish quests but as of last week i do believe the game breaking ones (that would break your character) are all fixed

recieveing the wrong email response to one quest is nothing compared to how bad some of the bugs were at launch just a few weeks ago

Juda sends you angry letters because you chose the light side option to let the slicer at the auction go free. He spills the beans that she had a copy, she gets harassed, and then she tells you to go die.

The solution is to kill everyone at the hit list auction, including the slicer running it. Yes, this gives you dark side points, but it's really better for everyone in the long run. You can still tell Juda to come clean and it ensures that there were no other copies of the list or witnesses that knew Juda had it at all. Sometimes being the good guy means you have to make the tough choices and take a few dark side points for the greater good.

Besides, going 10k light and 0 dark as an Imperial Bounty Hunter could be a sign that the script is doing more to define your character than you are

I haven't progressed far enough into the story, but I IMMEDIATELY pictured some jedi sitting behind a computer lightsaber on his desk right next to his mouse typing a email to my BH.

Imperial scum, next time I see you I will kill you and stab my lightsaber through your heart..

P.s May the force be with you. DIE BH.

LMAO

Better for everyone? Juda knew what she was getting into and got burned by her duplicity. The slicer? Not worth the bullet. In the end, everyone got what they deserved, and had Juda not tried backstabbing the bounty hunters in the Great Hunt she'd be fine as would her mother, most likely. Eventually what happened to her mother and by default her was, most likely, inevitable.

I have yet to see any reason to take any dark side points: a lot of it was unjustified/unnecessary killing. Yes, I've let a lot of them go with stern warnings to disappear with implied "or else"s, and am well on my way to 10k lightside points. My gunslinger, on the other hand....off'd someone for double-crossing him.

Oddly, I got a very happy thank you letter from her.

I axed everyone at the auction, confronted her, told her not to mess around again, and left. Mako even said "See you, Juda. Maybe next time we can get together in better circumstances."

Shortly after, a little note in my mailbox

"Dear Awesome BH, Mom's great, thanks for not killing me, everything's great, I'll never mess with the Mandalorians again. Kisses, Juda" Or something to that effect.

Really I am a neutral BH most of my dark side points are non story line quests.

My Characters Position on some things:

1.Tarro Blood shot him as soon as the door opened

2. Sith Lord Crosses me =dead

and

if i let you go once you come back i will kill you no questions asked.

what REALLY ticked me off about that, is i let her live (temporary slip in judgement). Then, if you go back and click to just hear her automated banter, she gives me some snooty comment about going back to my mandalorians! just the tone of her voice while she says that makes me want to shoot her. should of nixed her when i had the chance....

My powertech has 100 DS points, and Mako agreed with them because of that snotty noble on Alderaan who demands you stay at least 10 paces away from him and sees you as less than an errand boy.

Probably want to stick a spoiler tag in the thread title, OP.

Just more bug confirmation but I killed everyone and Juda and still got a letter from her...

Haha, I had to laugh at this. *disturbing mental image of her corpse lying on the floor with the lekku twitching alive to type out hate mail on a datapad*

I let both the slicer (the "you have to disappear, FOREVER" line is getting a bit overused from letting people live by now) and Juda live and got the "we're all fine, both my mom and nem'ro has money on you winning, you're my hero xoxo" letter.

Seems to be pretty random.

Then again my SI

has gotten the same three letter sequence of "this other guy is getting all violent and mean, my lord :'(" "but ISSOKAY, my lord, i got dis" "issokay nao, my lord, I talkeded to him and he's not mean anymore : )" from the cult chick on Nar Shaddaa like three times over by now. Maybe it's a lunar phase thing, hr hr hr.
