BioWare, have you realized... ?

I would argue more like an alpha state. Spawn-camping has been around since at least 1995 that I know of. (Doom over ipx, lol)

I don't really understand WHY people let themselves get camped.. three places to go, they can't guard them all with significant forces. An organized warband of ops groups would plow straight on through.

You are wrong, I have written several posts with suggestions and reasons explaining why SWTOR has failed in PvP terms. Here is an example:

http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=221750

Yet, I'm tired of ppl that defend this PvP even when every body is complaining about it.

  1. There is no reward. I expected to have some kind of Realm Points (nice Daoc times...) to change them for any kind of PvP gear such as medpacks, siege weapons, transport tickets, buffs, mounts, pets, and a large etc. that a good PvP designer could have thought in.
  2. The valor range is totally useless. The valor range could have had sense if you would earn points to spent in any kind of PvP abilities. Think on ignore pain, purge, passive stats augments, and a large etc that a good PvP designer could have thought in.
  3. There are not objectives to defent, and not, those ridiculous transport vehicles to destroy are not objectives. Think on vigilance towers, camps, forts, and a large etc that a good PvP designer could have thought in.
  4. The guilds in the PvP system this guy has thought have not sense. If there would be objectives, a guild could have claimed them with its guild banner and colours (OH WAIT, THERE ARE NOT GUILD EMBLEMS IN THIS GAME!!). Also, ther could be a guild ranking in PvP deaths or points, or something, something more than NOTHING!
  5. As there are not objectives to defend, there are not any to attak and siege it. Think of things that could have been implemented if there would be objectives: siege weapons such as lasers, rocket launchers, machine guns, shields, transport vehicles and a large etc that a good PvP designer could have thought in.
  6. Classes are totally unbalanced. One of the main objectives of Daoc and WAR was to balance the classes in the game to play a good PVP, they did it until the end. This game has the major unbalance between classes I have seen for years, and you don't do anything to solve it.
  7. There is only 1 PvP map (Ilum) but it can only host... 100 persons? per instance. It makes the open PvP player to lose every game persisting feeling, it is just like a warzone but a bit bigger... The map design is not very good, and the Ilum environment is very... ugly. Any Warhammer Online map could have been better than Ilum.

1. There's no reward? Titles? Better Gear? Mounts? They have these and more will be added in the future.

2. Is this even English?

3. There are objectives in Ilum, which would be to control all of the points on the map to increase Valor gains.

4. "The guilds in the PvP system this guy has thought have not sense." How is this being constructive? You can already run pre-mades with your guild. Being one of the top guilds on your server is reward enough.

5. Yet again this comes back to defending the points which increase your Valor gains and also the middle where you can collect armaments.

6. You say there is imbalance, yet you give no examples of any imbalance whatsoever.

7. Wrong, there's many World PvP zones, 1-level 50 zone, some random PvP zone in Tatooine that doesn't get used, 3 Warzones with more to come.

You do not provide any sort of constructive criticism nor do you give any good ideas. Your English is awful but regardless it doesn't take away from your posts as you do not give valid points.

Every game has fanboys, so I'm not surprised about your answers.

PS: I would like to see you writing your opinion of this game in spanish.

Okay language aside you don't give any valid points. You completely ignore things that are in the game and say they do not exist.

How can anybody take you seriously when you try to prove a point using misinformation fueled by your emotions?

Bullets don't make your point any that much more important. Really this is just one of another of those threads saying "You will meet your doom...DOOOOOOOM"

Christ, can't you people just making one big thread and quit bumping others off the page?

The thing you don't realize champ is that people DO try and make one thread but BW just comes and closes the thread.

Half the people that complain aren't even level 50 let alone valor 60.

Whenever someone gets killed by something they feel they need to post about it

If you think the PvP system is broken, you could always surrender.

I will surrender, just when the time I paid when I bought the game expires. Meanwhile I have the right to complain about things that are not correctly designed.

Usually directing you to an existing thread to post in or because the person who starts the thread does so in a ridiculously biased manner that leads to a flame war. There isn't a forum alive that wouldn't close the latter except maybe the 4chan types.

It is clear that you have not played Daoc or WAR (2 games designed by the same company that designed the PvP of SWTOR) Any player who have tried those games will agree with the points I exposed.

(Was my english good enough for you in this message??

Obviously I haven't played either of those games so give some examples how that would "fix" something that isn't broken. Your whole argument relies on baseless claims about a game you do not understand.

I fail to see how a fraction of the 1% of SWTOR's playerbase that actually uses the forums is "everybody."

I haven't had any complaints so far about PvP except for the ridiculous burst damage of a particular class.

I haven't hit 50 so I haven't had to deal with the bag system yet, but I can't imagine PvP is that much different at the top.

You will reach 50 and you will realize how bad is the PvP system.

Ilum is obviously in a beta state, though most of the complaints aren't about Ilum itself. Its from servers where one side just isn't organized.

That may be an issue on some servers, but I see the bigger problem being the use of kill trading on Ilum. Schlomoes who can't pvp to begin with streaking to BM almost instantly when others took from day 1 until now to get lvld up. I hope a smart fix will come cause there are a lot of things that I love about this game.

That's just a waste of time as you cannot effectively kill trade because the opposite faction will only yield credit every-so-often.

It most certainly did.

Actually it didn't bleed numbers in large amounts until people started hitting the massive game breaking bugs that made their end game just not work. Around that point is when server merges started hitting fast and hard.
