Operetives x2 hitting you is not normal.

Too many classes have KD and stuns -agree.

Operatives were perfect in Beta -some say they were bad but I played one and they were FINE! The buff they got before launch was a indicator of some one at BW who needs to get changed. The person(s) who put together the case for Operative buff need to be removed from any PvP part of the game forever because they made such a mistake of colossus proportion it should be unforgivable.

Ilum: I bet the person(s) who buffed Operatives before launch also thought Ilum was ready for launch.

DoT interrupts is just retarded!

Chance/Luck sucks, I like how WoW works because its clear price wise!

Great post!

the guy is a whining sore looser...

its painfull to watch.. i just want to punch him in the face..

many people can do that kind of damage.. its just you not counting WHEN did that hapen.. the amount of buffs the op had, they amount of buffs he DIDN'T have..

Hahaha, Operative whine! You know who get upset about any one stating the truth about OP being OP today? Some one with no skill who needs a massive crutch like Operatives have.

All I see there is a guy b*tching about how SW:TOR isn't WoW.

He got some points, yes. But he's also clearly biased and most his "arguments" are neither thought through, nor valid.

Once again, a Machinima "director" clearly missed the point.

Ok now he's talking about how there is a lack of fun abilities, going off on a tangent about how WoW is perfection (this is already the 2nd or 3rd time in the first 8 minutes of the video).

He listed WoW abilities such as Blink, Pain Suppression, blade storm, divine shield and totems as abilities that are fun. In SW, he says Force Leap (or whatever the warrior/knight charge is called), force lightning and force storm are the only fun abilities.

I don't see how SW abilities are less fun than WoW abilities. How is Pain Suppression actually fun? And also, what game is he playing where there is no sound animation to any of his abilities? /sigh what a dumb argument.

I stop watching when he said perfection is WoW and their classes are all balanced. After 7 years the classes aren't balanced in WoW, they never have been, that's why there is always FOTM and constant rebalancing. Lost all credibility regarding his perspective with that. SWTOR actually has better class balance out the gate than WoW ever attained in 7 years. IMO that is one area that SWTOR really got right.

I stopped watching this idiotic video the moment he said that it's 'hard to find bugs in WoW' when the top raiding guilds in WoW were temp banned recently for exploiting a fairly simple bug with LFR enabling them to continue to farm bosses for loot over and over again..according to the WoW community, MANY bugs like this exist at endgame STILL in WoW. Whiny kid is whiny kid.

Ilum discussion at around 15 minutes in. Valid points, but most of Ilum's problems are related to faction imbalance. Unfortunately, the other half (and from what I can tell in his video, his server actually looks like it has good balance, or maybe even Republic dominance) is that people are lazy and sitting in the bases. That's never a good idea for the defending side. The system is designed to reduce the effectiveness of farming, but over time the valor cooldown on killing the same person isn't that significant for the side that has the bases.

As an Imperial, it's great when we're sitting outside the base, mainly because I can just spam buff a raid and sit in the back, stealthed, and gaining valor much faster than I could in a WZ. For the Republic, I can't imagine what they are doing there. I'm getting 130-200 valor per kill (occasionally some Republic take an objective somewhere), they are getting 20 or maybe 40. But hey, I'm not going to whine about them giving me free valor.

It is hard finding bugs in WoW if you want to lie to yourself thats fine. Blizzard is excellent at fixing these 'other' things that have lasted patch after patch here. Things like screen freeze when you open your bag...Ilum 5 fps....Raid frame heath bar that gives wrong information....

SNARES ignoring Resolve? Seriously haha

No immunity after using trinket? Seriously?

Pushed, pulled, knocked back and stunned all before your resolve hits full then killed!

Have you ever payed a healer in TOR, you can not get a singe cast off if the other guy has half a brain.

As a Sorcerer I will 6 sec lock you out.

4 sec stun you

8 sec CC you and then 2 sec stun you after that CC

Knock you back to cancel yet another cast

All the while YOU ARE GETTING NUKED!

As an Operative I will just knock you down and kill you as you get up.

As a merc I will just tracer you a few ties then blow you up so fast you wont know what hit you!

No bugs please, this entire game PvP wise is one MASSIVE bug!

Love the part at around 17:30 where he's talking about how he has a 21 second cooldown instant heal. He then says, "I don't have any cooldowns" and then goes on to list off 5 (FIVE) cooldowns that he does have, only to say they are garbage, and that he literally just has no cooldowns again. More comparisons to how WoW is much better because they have better cooldowns that make it more skillful.

In PVP he can't hover over players running around and view the tooltip to see their class and other information... What? Why would this matter? (for clarification, he can, but he's complaining because of they move the tooltip goes away unless he keeps his mouse over them the whole time, which is hard...)

Also apparently can't tell when objectives are being capped, etc.

Love the comparison between windows 7 and xp. A better example would be content=drivers where comparing wow now (windows xp) has more content (aka drivers) then SWTOR (windows 7) at launch. It doesn't matter that it's 2012!

He does have a valid point about warzone grinding and getting gear, but he used the weapon, which costs more than twice what any other piece costs, and used a very poor commendation estimate. My average commendations per game is usually around 100, which is almost 50% more than the 70 he says he gets. This is probably because I play a tanky/dps and get extra medals and he's probably playing pure healer and not getting any medals for damage.

Overall though, I do believe a lot of the centurion (and tionese for that matter) are overpriced, so I do agree with that point.

Riiiiiight.

Ridiculous, lol. Snares not triggering resolve isn't a bug, guy. Sorry to burst your bubble on that one. I'm about to blow your mind, dear heart: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/1012660/ BOOM. An entire forum devoted to actual bugs in WoW, some of them dating back to Vanilla. Yea, that's right - Vanilla. It's been seven long years and Bliss still hasn't gotten around to fixing some bugs for all that time. Wait, what was that? You're bowing out of the conversation now? Yea, that's what I thought.

his point is hes not enjoying the game. im in his boat, im not having fun but theres nothing else to play.

Your opinion of the game is your own (or his own) and I'm not going to bash anyone for that. However, when someone tries to explain why they aren't enjoying the game, and the explanation is rife with inaccuracies or based in ignorance then perhaps they might enjoy the game more if they learned the systems in the game.

FWIW though, I honestly don't understand why anyone is coming to SWTORs from WOW with the opinion that WOW is perfection. I played WOW for 6 years, and for the first 3 years I never even considered playing any other game; WOW was perfection to me. Over the last 3 years I have taken several extended breaks and tried many other games because I was liking the game less and less as the developers made significant changes. Point being, if you have perfection, why are you looking for something else?
