Just make everything RNG

Why not make all of pve rng? Make its so every time u kill a mob or turn in any quest u have a 10% chance of getting XP, they already do it for the pvp quests it seems like, took me 9 wins today to get my 3 wins counted, i say lets just spread the fun and joy to all parts of this game.

 

Sounds very reasonable to me since it works so great in pvp.

At first I thought this was another Champion Bag thread. Now I realize that it is a thread about a bug that they are working on getting fixed and some people don't realize it's a bug.

 

It's not RNG that is causing this problem. Its not like you win a warzone and have a chance that it counts, its supposed to always count, its just a bug. Patience. It will be fixed soon enough.

I know the wz win thing is a bug, but it does go hand in hand with stupid f'ing champ bag system. Champ bags are rng and wz wins regardless of bug or not are 2, it just 1 big cluster frack period. So there we made into a champ bag qq 2;)

You DO realize that PVE drops in flashpoints/ops (aka the better stuff you WANT if you care about PVE) IS an RNG system, right?

 

In fact, PVE gear has been RNG based for a VERY long time.

 

I've said this a hundred times, so I'll go for brevity instead of detail this time.

 

PvE content allows you to progress as a guild. Generally, in a run, your PvE grouping gets better because -some-one gets gear. It makes clearing the content faster next time.

 

In PvP, you roll for one item at a time, with a miserable drop rate, which can drop things you already have.

 

Yes, dupes drop in PvE. Every boss also drops more than one piece of loot, and when you are with a group, it's likely that a drop will be needed by one of your group members.

 

It fits PvE a lot better. In PvP, it's just unrewarding, boring garbage that will drive people out of their Skinner boxes instead of keeping them glued to that food-dropping button for good. Unlike rats, we can go play other games.

 

I think more folks will start doing that if we don't get some ****in' consistent progression in PvP. It's the only way to level. It's very much like mobs giving XP only a small percentage of the time.

Glad everyone isn't a complete moron and can see this, oh noes PvP gear is RnG and not handed over on a silver platter.

He was speaking of all aspects of the game (Kill something and there's a chance it may give you XP for example), not just loot. Try reading the sarcasm more carefully.
