Looking for armored jacket / coat

Hey folks,

 

I'm not too familiar with all the gear that's available in the game, but i'd really love to have some sort of orange armored jacket with a long overcoat on top of it. I believe i saw a green quality jacket/coat like this around level 36 but i'd rather have one i can keep using up to and including when i'm L50. So anyone know where to get a fancy orange jacket/coat?

 

(And no i dont mean the jacket/coat needs to be orange in colour, one look at Carth Onasi from KOTOR1 will show you how bad that looks. )

The last boss in Cademimu drops an orange level jacket. I think it's called the Cademimu Sharpshooter Jacket.

Are you wanting the longer "trenchcoat" look or the more standard "nondescript" coat look?

 

For trenchcoats, I can think of 3-4(craftables at least). For the other...there's far less, and they're harder to come by. The Lacqerous Battle Jacket(crafted) immediately comes to mind. It looks like the Informant's Jacket you can get from Tatooine, just in blue.

 

After that, there's nothing until 47 when you can get the Polyplast Battle gear.

yeh i just started similar thread.

space station fleet acomidations spaceship vendor has pilot jackets, but 80 accomidations.

oh crud they are light armor ugh

there are also two "trenchcoat" jackets from Corellia comms. theres a black w/ white trim and a white w/ black trim..i use the latter myself until i can get the stupid columi set chest:)
