RogueTomato
Will you please die now? I don't know why EA decided to have mercy on your stupid company, and continue to plague us with your horrible programming and ideas. Perhaps they are actually Sith and this is their genius evil plot. Lets go over your illustrious history shall we? DAoC What a game this was at first and really, always has been. Although it had issues, such as a horribly painful 1-50 grind in the vanilla version, it was still a fairly well balanced game. With the advent of Shrouded Isles and the rest you simply continued to implement horribly worked out pve ideas that continued to make people grind through meaningless, storyless ********. WoW showed that PvE can actually be fairly fun, and not stupendously painful. Did you adapt? No. You never adapt. To adapt by your philosophy would be to admit defeat, so instead you implemented more meaningless, storyless ********. Well played. The one shining gem of that game was PvP. People generally loved PvP and although people *****ed incessantly about "gank" groups, you did nothing to balance them. In fact, you really did nothing to nurture pvp at all. You focused on more meaningless, storyless pve ********. You said that PvE was the aim of the game even though people raved about the pvp and begged you to make it a larger part of your concern. When you finally did decided to take on PvP, instead of facing it head on, you decided to make it so that instead of people learning their classes, and how to mix classes into successful groups, they simply had to zerg. You took fun, open areas, and put castles and towers onto them so that people didnt have to learn their classes, they just had to have superior numbers. Warhammer Trash. Absolute and utter trash. Again, you chose not to adapt at all, but to do exactly what you wanted to do. You finally implemented some much needed pve content to make it a little easier to level. Congratulations on half-assing some of the reasons that WoW was still the dominant MMO. Poorly, I might add. Do I even need to talk about how meaningless and stupid the PvP was? TL:DR. Take one thing away from this my intrepid ADD readers, Mythic must die. This game should have been (and the PvE portion still has a lot of hope I might add. Well done bioware) amazing. It had everything necessary to become the best MMO out there. Star Wars. You could take a crap, package it with a bow and say it's Bantha Pootu and people would buy it. This guaranteed a huge fan base to start. It has Jedi, Sith, Hutts, and scantily clad Twi'leks. What more could a man need? Go. Away. Mythic. Let Bioware un**** this game as I know they can. I still believe in you Bioware! Class balance issues can be fixed! Bugs can be fixed!

Dethcord
More like EA must die. Warhammer was not done, but they forced mythic to finish it asap to grab MOOR MONIES FASTORR. If they gave them more time for development, this game would be a masterpiece. And warhammer wasn't so bad afterall, it was a good MMO.
LightAvalon
@ OP You ever play DAOC? Groups of 8 regularly farmed zergs o.o. Also the amount of RPs you gain drastically decreased when you zerged.
Erseneos
DAOC was the best, warhammer didnt live up to the hype, but the PVP in WAR was a blast. Minus the OP classes....and forts not working endgame. But Mythic needs to stop trying to reinvent the wheel. They know what WORKED in DOAC, they tried to reinvent it in WAR (for whatever reason), and now with SWTOR, they took a whole new approach. Really, why are we walking backwards on pvp progression?... Cant wait till PLanetside2 with 3 factions. Edited January 28, 2012 by Erseneos

Kelvmor
Disagree with this topic. Screw Doac.... Have not seen a game with true balanced and good pvp since old school Ultima Online. Doac pvp lol....
Kortobowden
Cant wait till PLanetside2 with 3 factions. The first game was fun, and more often than not, 2 factions teamed up against the biggest/strongest faction at the time, and once they had the advantage, they'd fight eachother, and the third faction would swoop in and take back some of their losses, etc. I can't wait, either. With the excuse "we want to make sure the game is at it's best", I bet it was just them not knowing **** about what they were doing! Eventually EA had to say "enough is enough, get the game shipping ready". And mythic did this in a horrible way. EA may be a greedy, big company but they aint stupid. Mythic just have to go to the "failed developers graveyard" and get some rest, not that they deserve it but it's for the best, for Everyone. As the OP said, they have made the SAME mistakes in three games in a row now. How many lifes do they get?
