That's mirrored in grav rounds being able to follow you behind and around walls. The LOS check happens when the ability is used, not when the animated missile hits you. I would go so far though and say that this - breaking vanish - is a bug. Vanish is supposed to take you out of combat. For that to be even possible, it has to protect from incoming delayed damage (except dots of course, those are a valid counter to vanish IMHO). Kortobowden Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 I commonly have my casts broken in the last .5 second by someone using LoS. It's got to be some sort of lag. As in you got behind the thing on your screen, but you weren't quite there when the attack was cast according to the server, so you got hit. It happens to me occasionally, so I usually try to LoS early and pop out long enough to get an instant, then go back to LoS if I need to use it. Like another poster mentioned my lightning always hits and its instant dmg the missles are SLOW so in my opinion the damage is applied AFTER its shot from the gun making is LESS effective than an ability that you press and the damage is immediately applied...
