Subatomix
Level 33, Kinetic spec. Having a blast in PVP. Force Pull is my favorite ability so far in terms of sheer fun. At last, I have a way to deal with pesky ranged DPS. I just hope 3 wz's don't get too old too fast. Ten games of huttball in a row does tend to get stale already. grandmasterub
/drool I never get huttball. Always that stupid ship. Huttball is the best. Also anyone else find kinetic shadows to be super squishy in pvp? I drop like a rock compared to my dps vanguard who's 10 lvls lower than me
Subatomix
I think the reason I get HB so much is that my server is mainly Rep (Whitebeam Run). I thought picking a med pop server would be best, avoiding login queues and whatnot. But it turns out not so much. ;-( I tried playing Shadow and Balance spec prior to Kinetic. K is way better. Just gotta keep K Ward up and pop Defense when needed. I don't find myself any more squishy than other melee. Combined with my CC and quick stealth, I really dig it. Mapping hotkeys helps a lot with this spec imho. EG., you don't need the C key set to the character pane. It's much better to use it for one of your abilities. Just need to switch something with 1, most likely bring spinning kick over. Also thinking about a new shortcut for the friendly targeting "CTRL+TAB" because it is how I get targets for guard in warzones and I'd rather it was a single key. grandmasterub
Theres actually a keybind thread going where they'd enjoy seeing your setting. As a side note I ckick
Subatomix
I would humbly suggest adding more ALT + <key> and CTL + <key> strokes. The number keys 6 and up are pretty far away for even a big left hand IMHO. You have four quickslot bars, so there's enough room, just enough imho. RockysRevenge
I'm a mouse clicker as well . Most of the better pvpers use mouse turning and keybinds to get a nice burst off in a couple seconds. Me...my system is so laggy that I don't really bother, it wouldn't matter. PvP is kind of just a mini game for me, I mostly PvE only. I have taken to mouse turning a bit, and I might try some of your keybinds out since I'm still Infil spec, and I'm not changing it .

gurugeorge
All the better pvp'ers keybind. peroid. It helps your game sooo much. In an MMO with a global cooldown? How? With a GCD you can make a cup of tea while you wait 1.5 seconds, plenty of time to look at the action, look at the icons and click an icon. You can play the whole game with your mouse and just WASD/mouselook steer. OK, maybe your interrupts and other abilities not on GCD could be keybound, but otherwise, what's the point? Don't get me wrong, I'm a keybinder by habit, but you don't need to keybind in a game like this. Not only that, but icon clicking seems to be more responsive than keypresses at the moment (though I guess that will be fixed). OTOH in a game like AoC, or CO, with no GCD, where powers can be fired off at any moment, you really need to keybind.

So your saying in WoW clickers are just as effective as keybinders......hahahah good one. WoW has GCD's and you won't see a 2k arena player that clicks. When this game gets more responsive it will matter more here too.
