BlueWanderer Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 I got a couple ship ocmponent schematics on my slicer and sent them over to my cybertech. There were 2 and I didn't pay that close attention to whether he already knew them assuming that I would get a "you already know that schematic" message if I did already know it. After learning both schematics, I realized that I did already have one of them known (I had that ship component slotted in my ship already). Due to the fact that you get a "you already know that mission" message if you try to learn a mission you already have, I would call the fact that you can learn a schem you already know a bug. Splaktar Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 Yep, I tested this the other night by buying 2 of the same schems from the GTN. Then it let me learn them both and consumed both. Of course it only gave me the pattern once. It makes it really hard when guildmates or friends link you schems and you need to take a long time to look to see if you have it or not. Same when browsing schems on the GTN. Certainly something that I would consider a high priority and fairly simple change that would make crafting usability a lot better and improve enjoyment.
