if your not happy....just sue them if you can afford to or are entitled to free legal advise, seriously i see so many whine posts here about false advertising this, and that, yet all you do is whine.

In reality after looking through what they said during the creation of the game and the way it was marketed it is clear that alot of the product at launch did not represent what what marketed to us during development, it is also clear that pre order bonuses and CE's pre order bonuses may also be considered as falsley advertised.

On another side of the the argument, the game at launch for a large proportion of purchasers was near enough unplayable, low FPS, game breaking issues su ch as 1 FPS etc, ability delay , memory leak , broken characters.

It is also noticeable that they advertised a story based MMO, thats great if it doesnt REALLY finish at 34 ish, yes they havr you going to your classes specific story person but if you all watch the story they start to become a bit irrelevant and you start caring less because it is not 1 continuous story 1-50 and also, it ends the moment you hit 50, i'm sure i remember a quote "its an on going story that wont end till way after level 50, and even then theres other story elements you can un fold and plau out" something on those lines.

Either way, Under trading standards laws, especially here in the UK this company would be Liable due to the level of how unfinished, buggy and broken it was on release.

There are some false advertising issues and overall the product does not fully match what was described in many of their marketing videos.

"the finished product must be of a working standard finished to a level where due care and attention has been taken to ensure it is fit for purpose."

IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT THIS STUFF, GO FURTHER, Yes bioware is massive but, in all fairness after i've have studied and understood law for the last 3-4 years, they have failied to provide what was marketed to a large degree, especially during launch.

I'm pretty sure nobody would win such a lawsuit. Also, encouraging people to sue a company on said company's website? IBTL.

this is the wrong attitude.

just because the company is big does not mean they are competant.

It does also not give them the right to release an unfinished broken beyond belief product because people like yourself because you say "you would never win a law suit." when in fact this kinda of thing has been seen time and time again.

This in terms of a lawsuit would be much in favour of the parties against bioware and EA because of the lack of due care and attention that went into the creation of their finished product. I.E it is not fit for purpose. It fails to meet even some of the basic standards.

there is no reason to think you would not win in court so you shouldnt bother. it is this very thinking that leads to massive companies releasing stuff like this in the first place.

I love how you basically invented arguments to refute in my post. I never made any claims of BWs competency. I never claimed they had the right to an unfinished product. I didn't make any claim at all except that you would not win the case. I believe you would not because I think your accusations are both melodramatic and exaggerated. Other than a vague accusation that BW did not meet a certain standard of quality, you have pointed to no law they have broken.

PLEASE tell me you are not a lawyer..becuase you have no clue at all about any of this....

If anyone takes this to court with this guys arguments it will not only waste your time, the courts time but money and you will no doubt lose and the entire world will laugh at your complete and utter stupidity for even considering you have a case..

and OP

if you are so sure you would win.. Why arent you suing BW right this very moment?
