DarthThuzad
Posted in spoilers because they are bound to come out at one point. So we have the False Voice of the Emperor in one corner, he's powerful enough to even try to make that claim. He held a Sith entity hostage, which was one of his power sources. In the other corner we have Thanaton, who killed the Emperor's apprentice in Blood of the Empire and when he was antagonizing the inquisitor, it is shown that he is extremely proficient in the use of Force lightning. Not to mention he knows so many Sith rituals. So who wins? I'm tempted to say Thanaton.

Killian_Jedi
Difficult to say. Probably Baras because, While Thanaton as Teneb Kel did kill the emperors apprentice, he did so by the skin of his teeth and had his butt kicked the entire fight. He won not because he earned by overpowering her, but through guile and being sneaky at the last second with the old floating lightsaber to the back move. He thoroughly got whipped there. So sure he's a lot more powerful now then he was there I guess, but Baras displayed the raw power and the guile (including great skill in both lightning and rituals), to achieve his position and ultimately attempt ascendance as the voice of the emperor. (false one but still) In my opinion Baras is the more powerful of the two. Edited January 27, 2012 by Killian_Jedi
DarthMoord
So Thanaton's claim to power was defeating the Emperor's Apprentice, whilst we have no clue how many apprentices the Emperor has nor how advanced this one is. Meanwhile Baras was strong enough to impersonate and lay claim to the title of Voice of the Emperor and thus the Emperor himself. Yeah, that's a pretty difficult conundrum. Urivial
Both are cowards and weaklings from what I can tell. Thanaton spends most of the game losing and fleeing from the SI, while you don't see Baras fight a single battle of his own the entire playthrough as a SW. Even when he finally decides you need to die, he doesn't have the decency to do it to your face, and instead constantly sends his new apprentice to get beaten by you. And the one battle we do get to hear about, his apperent fight against the dude on hoth has him losing horribly to the extent that they took his lightsaber. Then you kill the same guy he lost to. In the end though, I'd say Baras would win.

He was never going to beat the Emperors Apprentice(exal Kressh), he was losing in the fight until his slave maggot jumped in...if that even makes any difference.
