SWFTW
First off, I'm a level 31 deceptiion assassin so I am supposedly above this quest by one level. For some reason, unlike every other PvE piece of content in this game, I'm finding the final boss pretty much impossible. I have all my buffs, I'm using the 20 second buff that requires a companion, I have Khem Val out (though he's a bit undergeared but I doubt that's why and even so I'm too poor to upgrade him) and I'm using the standard rotation of maul>electrocute>Overload>shock>discharge>thrash and it's just not working. Has anyone else had trouble with this boss? Any tips?
Vassaggo
That fight is a toughy, If I remember correctly; when I did it I would taunt off then kite a little bit.
Sivar
When I did it on my assassin way back when I was using Khem as well, I didn't really like using Andronikus as he always seemed to go down too fast after pulling some random mob that I wasn't on. Basically I use electrocute very early then pop Channel the Force for the healing, I'd then save the new electrocute for when Khem inevitably died and I was having to tank the elite. I know that the constant heals don't seem like much, but they add up over the duration of the buff and combined with the med pack, will save your life. Also, save your defensive buffs (and the spare electrocute) for when Khem goes down and work it in..... Other than that your rotation really isn't that important because to maximize force efficiency you're relying on procs and using things like Maul and Shock without the procs will really hurt your overall damage output because they're so expensive. The way that you want to do it is an override method where you're using thrash, discharge, etc (assassinate once you're there) unless the needed proc-buff is there, otherwise their use will consume so much of your Force pool that, as I said, you're hurting your damage output. -- The other way you can do it is to respec tank and kite/hold him while Andronikus kills him.... Bobmich
Micro-Manage Khem if you get trouble in Elite fights. Turn his auto-taunt off and taunt the mob onto yourself, and use Deflection so you can soak some damage too, then click his taunt yourself so the mob turns back on him. that way, you'll be most likely be on low health by the end, but the mob will be dead. And no-brainer, but make sure you're upgrading Khem's gear too so he isn't a sponge instead of a rock
Murderous
I just got through that fight a few days ago. First, stay the hell away from that pulsing aoe he does and kite him. knockback, slow, stun, use all your tools, especially interrupts. Khem is a decent AI tank but he needs to be geared as well as you can gear him. But even geared he will die to that mob, just try to get as much damage in as possible before he dies and you have to start kiting. medpacks, channel force, and keep him off you. the only time you should be close enough to hit him is when you have him stunned, otherwise kite and use ranged attacks until cd's are up again. It took me 3 times to get him, he's a tough guy. No disrespect intended by this, but I was 2 lvls lower than him when I killed him. Sometimes you get frustrated and have to step back for a few minutes. Maybe play another toon for an hour and come back to him. hope this helped and GL, you'll get him. Azgrey
As a deception sin I threw on a shield, got into dark charge and used Andy. I started with the typical out of stealth openers followed by damage rotation, with interupts as needed, ending with Electrocute. Then pop Channel the Force to get your heals going, gain the free Electrocute and pop Deflection. At some point your interupts will all be on CD and you will need to kite. Use Force Slow as you can. Line of sight works here to avoid his pull. If you do get pulled, hopefully an interupt is available for you to use when you land. If he aggro's Andy, you can taunt him back to you or use the time to gain some health if he isn't taking Andy down too fast. This was the only way I could do it. I had Khem geared very well for this fight and he would still turn into soft butter when the pulse aoe started. Was much easier to kite out of the aoe with Andy hitting him from range. Pretty much exactly how I took him down his AOE destroys most companions you have so having Andi stay at range while you kite him around is win win just use channel the force at around 70% health and jolt and electrocute early and othen just don't forget to use Electrocute before you channel the force, having it able to be used back to back is sweet. zevulon
i had troubles with that guy i just kited him in a circle, while andronikos killed him from the center of the room lol
darthscotty
I used Andronikos and kited him around used knockbacks and kept my stuns on cool down and did not have any trouble with him. If you use stuns and knockbacks while kiting him with Andronikos providing some ranged dps should not have to many problems with it.
