I lose warzones to premades.

People leave my warzones.

I join warzones that are lost already.

I get shot down by grav rounds and tracer missile.

I harmlessly hack away on consular/sorc bubbles.

I get instagibbed by ops regularly.

Sometimes I look for pvp and there are no republic around.

Sometimes my queue times are long.

Sometimes I open 20 bags and get nothing.

I lag when there are a lot of people on my screen.

I work full time, have a girlfriend, other hobbies, and it's hard to remain competitive with only a few hours a day.

Sometimes I cap 90% of the objectives in WZ, get 3 medals, and no MVPs.

I don't always get credit for my warzones.

Usually my teammates are bad.

And I'm having fun.

Ask yourself, if you are having fun. If so, great! Enjoy it. And if not, go have some fun. Doing something else, if need be. There's no need for all the rage and tears. Think about it. You know I'm right. Good luck.

"Instagibbed", not Jibbed, that just sounds like you're doing something highly inappropriate with a chicken or turkey.

I know how you feel and have felt the same way.

However since going lvl 50 and doing lvl 50 WZs only, not as much fun when you can't even last more than 10 seconds before being a corpse again.

1/10 in WZs last night and that is not really all that fun.

If it's not fun, don't do it. Or find a way to make it fun. This is a game, don't punish yourself.

I would have more fun if they implemented a Medal Farmer title for you guys that refuse to leave warzones.

thats 99.9% of em mate. Tor isnt a pvp game, its a pve farming game really.. Why els do you think they set it up this way :). Hell they even said kill trading is "pvp" hehe

I'm pretty sure you would just queue up with the same bads next round. Leaving solves nothing. Trying to win against the odds, or making some progress yourself, however, might. I'd rather make the best of a bad situation.

I'm not having fun running around for hours clicking on boxes in Ilum to finish my daily weekly so, at least hopefully, they fix that.

Also, losing isn't fun either.

Would I change some stuff? Yeah - which is what forum discussions should be for. But I'm still enjoying the game in general. When I stop enjoying it I'll likely stop playing - isn't that the way things should go?

My wife told me the other day that I took this game a bit too personally, I told her she was probably right because sometimes it felt like the developers were specifically trying to mess up my fun times with their stupidity. Then I decided to just ignore the areas they were being stupid and enjoy the rest of it.

The reason people are leaving has nothing to do with the points you posted.

The reason people are leaving is because of boredom. The Endgame in SWTOR in both PvE and PvP becomes nothing but extreme repetition with minimum rewards after you do it for only a few weeks.

Roll with some elite buddies and ruin people in WZ after WZ after WZ, finish raids on HM, and then...

uh...

roll an alt!...and do it...alll...over...again...?

Maybe I'll just check out this other game over there I haven't tried yet. This is vaguely the problem/logic a lot of endgamers are running into. People crave new things to do and endgame in SWTOR doesnt doesn't deliver much of it.

I dont recall claiming a monopoly on bad experiences. If the people that left (and I give nearly zero credibility to people still posting on forums) to do something fun then I am happy for them.

You mistake my main request. It is not directed to the players that have left, but to the players that are still here, raging, complaining, and otherwise being unsatisfied. If the game is truly that boring/unattractive/smelly/X that you no longer enjoy it, just go do something else instead of wallowing in your misery. It doesn't help you, or me to be part of this negativity.

Why not bring the issues into the light and hope they get fixed?

That's why people are complaining. If you're insinuating everybody shut up then Bioware will have no incentive to fix anything and sub rates would plummet and this game would die. Criticism is necessary for the growth of any MMO into its fullest potential. People want this game to succeed. They're not criticizing it because they want it to fail.

If you cease strawmanning me, you might discover I have a point not yet in your talking points rebuttal list.

If you're not having fun. Don't play. This is simply a rational choice, both from the perspective of improving the game, and your own sanity. The classes that get buffed are the ones that get played the least. These metrics tell developers things. A forum full of crying children just tells them their customers are children. You cannot honestly tell me that this forum passes for "feedback". There is far too much emotion, and far too little actual data for this to be any use to developers. Somehow I dont see anyone finding any catharsis either.

I'm not strawmanning you, damn you're desperate to avoid confronting your own points. My rebuttal is directed at your main argument, but since you're trying so hard to pretend like it isn't, I'll lay it out as clearly as possible for you -

Your argument is: If you do not like this game, rather than complaining, just don't play it. Correct? Correct.

My counter-argument is: If people do not like this game, it is their collective right to complain about what they do not like so that Bioware can become aware of these things and change them.

Where is the strawman in that? Do you even know what a strawman is? My point counters your point directly. In other words - I disagree with you.

Mhak, your first claim was that I had asserted my experiences had caused people to quit. Your second was that I had suggested that people refrain from giving feedback. If you can prove either of those two points, continue. If not, you should be made aware that your "counter-argument" is no such thing, but an irrelevant aside. People are entitled to feedback, but that is not related to my main point, which you still fail to grasp, is that if this game causes you emotional distress, then it is likely not worth it. You are clearly not my equal in debate, logic, or reading comprehension, so I'm afraid that is all the time I can devote to one poster without derailing the thread.

I never made any such assertions. The only assertion I ever made is that people have a right to complain about things so that they will be fixed.

Whatever you're smoking, will you sell me some? It sounds danky. I don't know what you're reading but it's nothing I ever said on this thread. You're inventing things buddy.
