solnar_xan
I bought an item by mistake; I can't get my commendations back (which took ages to get ) Bioware I realize you have a big broken planet called Ilum, but you need to work on these little things too. Make the usable filter work. Allow a refund for 1 hour after getting an item; I really see no reason I should have to make a ticket and waste someones time for this as I know others make this mistake as well. Work on the little things. Edited January 26, 2012 by solnar_xan
Quinlynn
Totally agree. Right Click for Buy, Sell and Equip is stupid with no conformation window. Can't tell you the number of times I have bought something and then right clicked it to equip / open only to sell it and have to buy it back. Just one of the many signs that SWTOR is anything but polished, and more like poleish.
Flexplosion
bump this - as a shadow, my first champion token was for my headpiece. this was pre-1.1 patch when the items from the vendor did not display the set bonuses until you actually bought the piece. I bought the 'wrong' piece because I looked at the stats on it; endurance, willpower, expertises, crit and surge - all stats a shadow uses. then i saw the set bonus was for sages... I opened a ticket, they didn't address it, I opened another ticket, it's in limbo. since then, they have corrected the set bonus to show when visiting the vendor, so they obviously realized they made a mistake in not showing it before. so now I have to either be incredibly lucky, or grind to battlemaster and be incredibly lucky. While I agree they should add a confirmation for the high end gear purchases, if you're accidentally selling your gear THAT often, it's clear you don't learn from your mistakes, and perhaps that's something you should consider addressing for yourself rather than blaming the game. Additionally, equipping an item does pop a confirmation window when you're about to bind it to your char... not sure what else you want there, short of the game playing itself. coolnamesrtaken
I did the same thing. Open a ticket under item/loot and give your name, server name, item you bought, when, from who and for how much. Then explain you bought the wrong item. They'll refund you your commendations, but it may take days to do.. My ticket took 8 days to get answered, but it's better than reearning all of those commendations. Edit: after actually reading your whole post I realized u already knew this -_- fml lol Edited January 26, 2012 by coolnamesrtaken

This should be a no brainer for a CSR when you have the no trade item in inventory and they can easily check that your are not the appropriate profession. No excuse for a CSR not doing this other than just being stupid and lazy or completely untrained. IMHO
