Auxili
I'm curious why the CC these classes have give so much resolve (a 1.5s stun giving full resolve, a mez giving 800/1000 resolve, etc). Their sniper/gunslinger root only lasts 2 seconds and breaks on damage after that, which is just as bad. Their AOE knockback gives 400 resolve and requires cover to use. Their melee stun (as opposed to the BH and Sorc RANGED stun of the same length) adds a whopping 800 resolve. Other classes that are less squishy and have a larger toolbox (namely sorcs and BHs) get stuns that only add around 200 resolve. Sorcs and Sages can stunlock from range without maxing your resolve until you're dead. I'm just curious what the design focus was behind this. It's especially hurtful to the Sniper/Gunslinger experience as they already have less tools and survivability than these two classes. raelimar
Just so you're aware, this thread isn't going to receive a lot of support. Too many people foaming at the mouth because they died within the span of a Jarring Strike. They're not interested in addressing actual shortcomings of the class. jackmanboo
I completely agree. As a gunslinger , I die a bit inside when I see an assassin stun me from range even though they're a melee class. Meanwhile , I am a ranged class , yet my stun is MELEE!! To add to that , they get another stun at range I.e. whirlwind , following up with a melee stun.... To recap, I get a ranged break on damage stun, and one melee stun. Mean while , they get a ranged stun that doesn't break on impact , and one that does break from damage... At RANGE! Topping it off with a melee stun .. Not QQ'ing , just stating the facts .

But snipers can CC droids and only droids instead of all purpose CC like whirlwind, by the most magnificient ability of slicing a droid which is an awesome addition in the pile of gimps and restrictions with no rewards class that Snipers are! Brilliant! I can see how this all went down. Design team meeting: Lead: "Guys, we need the 'iconic' classes to be very special and shiny compared to others to make more sales. Now, what do we have... Oh yeah, Imperial Agent, no one is going to play it anyway. Make it suck.... seemingly innovatively and creatively, as long as it sucks. Like climbing to a tree with your butt first... yeah, make that an advanced ability" Yesmen: "My god, you are a genious!"
