More interactions in Cantinas.

There is just something odd about going to the cantina and not even being able to sit down and order a drink. The only thing the bartender gives is Jukebox tokens, they have all these player hubs and various opportunities for more social elements and they don't use it.

Especially for role players, after a long hard day of doing quests, sometimes we want to unwind, but we can't even do that because there are no options to do so and it feels as though that Cantinas are either used for:

A. Missions

B. Rest Zone XP

C. Companion Conversations

The cantinas feel more like decoration than an actual place in the game, please fix this.

I agree. I had a fairly high expectations with cantinas going into this game (so maybe it's my fault), but I was disappointed to find out they server very little purpose. This game is so story driven, so character engrossing, that it's truly surprising that you, Bioware, didn't make the cantinas in this game to directly reflect that design element.

Chairs to sit in, NPC's to talk with, drinks and food to order.. These smallest of changes can help turn these desolate log-out areas into RP havens. In a setting where Smugglers and Jedi can band together to take down common enemies for the greater good of the republic, there needs to be a mutual area of interest!

How about a job board? A mix of simple mini-quests (repeatable) and harder ones (non-repeatable or on a long CD) that can net a few extra credits/commendations. As hard as taking down a champion somewhere in the city or as easy as escorting an old guy and a farm boy to Alderaan.

Stories for NPCs in Cantinas would be nice. Maybe just giving a reward like an achievement and/or a title, nothing unbalancing. They could even just do it with aliens, so as not to need to record new voice acting.

Another nice thing would be certain jukebox songs causing NPCs to start or stop dancing, or other animations.

RPing ideas that I saw being made through many months of beta testing were completely 100% ignored. Never saw a single reply to any of them by Bioware and one of them hit 100 pages of replies with ideas, several others came close to that size. Since that time I have heard BIoware state that they will be expanding on how many places we can sit.

How nice of them. At this rate, this roleplaying game may actually get a few of the things just about every other RPG has at release.

IF they had taken just a few of our ideas for canitnas given over the last YEAR we would at least have few things to do to help create a community.

And that, is the reason cantinas are empty and the community...well, there is no real community is there? Just LFG and people buying/selling.

BTW OP, good ideas that I thought were good when I first read and supported them many months ago.
