Works well and gets the job done, but I'm quite a lot more fond of other camera types, like one might find in action games such as Force Unleashed, or in any 3D platformer. And logically following, the character's movement direction would be as such, too. The camera follows the player, rotating to track the player, but moving only when necessary to maintain proximity. In-turn, the character's movement would be oriented in the direction of the keys pressed (or joystick for that matter), as opposed to being locked into the camera's facing. Quite simply, I suggest an option for such a camera/control scheme, for those of us who prefer it.
