Varyx Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Faction imbalance seems to be the one issue that BW is not doing anything about, why don't they allow players to transfer factions? The changes to Illum were made to work in a balanced environment, but the numbers are stupidly lopsided, so they WON'T work until there is some parity. PVP in this game will never be successful until this issue is dealt with.

In Warhammer, when a server was very much dead, the players begging on their hands and knees for a server merge, or plain quiting the game, EA wouldn't authorise any free transfers untill they were sure that even the most stubborn and poor players had paid 20+ euros for a transfer before they merged. Don't expect anything for free here, even if it is just one guy pressing a button to start a macro to change your faction.

Except there is no guy. It's all completely automated. Pure profit, zero expense. :-) Edit: Well, technically I suppose you could factor out some expense from electricity bills as correlated with a % of CPU time used in executing the transfer processes.
