Jester-Head Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 So ive been lvl 50 for about a week now. I did lots of PVP. got some decent gear.But im quickly getting bored of it. Its better now that 50's have their own bracket and all. but its still the same thing. I went thru 4 Champion bags and got no gear and that was the final straw -- i don't like the random chance. and the 3 champion comms is pathetic. (just my opinion) I can't find any groups for endgame or Hardmode FP's or Ops... Which is very disappointing..I don't even do space battles no more - no point. Anyone have any recommendations? I have a guild but not many are on at a time. and they just do PVP (i dont know how they are not bored of it yet). Im playing republic side BTW. Ive just been doing crafting missions and selling on the GTN.... thats all ive logged in for, for the last 2-3 days... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its just that 2 dozen 50s like to fall asleep at Republic Fleet and not do any FP's, Ops, or World Bosses. And doing the same 3 pvp maps or [even worse] hutball 99% of the time is more torture than anything. Crafting is dead at 400/400. and getting gear at 50 [which is kinda the only thing to do] seems to be like pulling teeth. Lots of content unlocks at 50. But its like no one wants to do it. a lot of the PVP gear looks the same. A lot of it no one knows how to get (those other Commendations that never drop from anywhere). No one does Hardmodes or Ops for you to get Raid gear... its just... wth are people doing at 50? am i missing something? and the rise of the rakhghouls? *claps.... sarcastically* not interested (unless it drops the mythical nonexistant Purple Color crystal for republic). MalakDawnfire Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 (edited) I'm trying to avoid Fleet like the plague, if I sit there too long it feels like I'm back in WoW sitting in Stormwind waiting for queues to pop, which is a BIG reason that I left the game in the first place. At first release. another time when BC came out.. another time when WOTLK came out... private servers... and im not even gonna give Cataclysm or Panda-craft a chance lol. AION ... liked it for a bit. but the grinding bore fest really settled in at mid-game. Dark Age of Camelot - almost made it to 50. but got bored. played lots of free ones. SWTOR is the only MMO ive "completed" (by reaching level cap). Mostly attributed to rewarding gameplay at levels 1-49 and a storyline. But at 50 its like "now what? and why is everyone asleep?" You forgot the space combat, nothing to do there at 50. Nah i noted that in my first post. True tho. i was expecting a freaking wanna-be deathstar level at 50 to take down... I want to blow stuff up... and they dont let you do it in any space battles... thats some bantha poodoo right there. THEY KNOW we want to blow up a space station in pieces... But everythign is static as hell and you can destroy generators/turrets.... woop-dee-freaking doo... There was more destruction in space battles in the Empire At War game... cmon now.. I do warzones every day - so far I have 3 peices of champion gear and 30 valor, so, my need to get good gear will keep me going at that for awhile. I still have to craft my rakata adrenals, and then I'm gonna craft some implants, meds, etc for some of the alts I'm planning. Still have some datacrons to get - I find its a good thing to do while waiting for warzone queues. I still have to do Batlle for Ilum and False Emperor, and the new flashpoint that came out yesterday. I've only done BT on Hardmode - still need to do all the others, and keep doing them till I get good gear. Haven't done any operations yet. Doing the bonus series on Belsavis. And when I get tired of doing flashpoints/pvp, I'll probably work on an alt here and there. But I see myself still playing mostly my level 50 for the next few weeks to get all my good gear, until my guildies have caught up with me to do some operations. Lularapio Posted January 20, 2012 Share Posted January 20, 2012 yep, my lvl 50 juggernaut dps is pretty much getting dust until there's a LFG tool working, since the lack of crowd control makes my class pretty much undesired in pugs regardless the effort to improve my own gear or how good of a player I am. When I say "juggernaut", they automatically assume I'm a tank. Leveling a bounty hunter mercenary, level 34.... don't know how many alts I'll have patience to level and wait until there's a LFG tool working, bioware... Oh hey same thing happened to me and my Juggernaut, finished leveling 2 weeks ago and spent most of my time doing PvP while spamming LFG HM in the fleet for a few hours with no results.
