Apax
Ouch. And strange that, up until now, we've been hearing comments indicating that sales have been better than expected, but this report states they've been lower than expected.
Xugos
People are dropping FAST. I knew SW:TOR would fail, but I didn't think it would be this fast. I suppose my extrapolation of ~352k subs in 45 days might be too generous rofl. Edited January 19, 2012 by Xugos

Fraxture
Wow, what is this, the 5th post today on the same subject? Hostess is failing as well, you going to stop eating Twinkies and HoHos? A recession kind of does that to companies.
Xothos
So one analyst is estimating something and changed his plans, which caused the shares of EA as a company to drop by 3%. Which obviously means Star Wars is failing.. did i get this right?
Xugos
ITT: People have no idea how stocks work. ITT: irony. EA has been on a negative trend ever since 1 week after launch. It's because they KNOW how many people are cancelling, and their primary shareholders are subsequently bailing out.
Asroha
Can't wait until tomorrow when the free sub time runs out so the complainers and ragequitters will go away...
Andryah
ITT: People have no idea how stocks work. Nor any apparent idea of how to read the other threads ABOUT THIS SAME TOPIC rather then starting a 50th one on the same topic.
Twolow
Obviously analyst Todd Mitchell was playing his republic character and made the mistake visiting Ilum last night. Today, he goes to work still raging.

Zeodic
While I am no means a market type person nor a stock owner I find it humorous that one video game can affect a stocks worth. Wouldn't that be similar to Ford's worth dropping if there was a recall on mustangs for an engine issue? This has never happened to my knowledge, but like I said I am not a market person. flunkorg
Can't wait until tomorrow Neither can I, theirs still going to be the bad apples. There always will. But the majority will be (hopefully) gone. But, that implies that they actually unsubscribed
Kholvan
ITT: irony. EA has been on a negative trend ever since 1 week after launch. It's because they KNOW how many people are cancelling, and their primary shareholders are subsequently bailing out. Or it could be because stocks are about emotion, crowd psychology and BS, rather than reality.
