Shrilokka
EA is just the publisher. And it really isn't as bad as everyone is making it. Wait a bit for the emergency patch and they said they will take action against the players who exploited. Just wait, it'll be fine... Bunch of friggen cry babies over reacting about everything... bicuspid
When I learned they were incorporating the Warhammer team the first thought I had was that those guys would be the last dudes on the planet I'd want near my 300 million dollar MMO. And yet... simply by being the publisher, bad things happen to EA games. Two possible theories: 1) They are influencing the games through their publisher connections (money talks). 2) The CEO is a warlock that practices black magic and curses anything he touches. bumstah
EA is just the publisher. A multi-million dollar publisher that is infamous for being the greediest of them all in the video game industry, that cares nothing about the development, longevity or innovation of the gaming community. A publisher that is so greedy yet powerful game developers are forced to abide by its strict deadlines, tight budgets, and corporate guidelines. Yeah, just a publisher, alright. You can't expect a polished developer even like Bioware to make something good when you have these corporate dogs breathing down your neck. ActionAce
I suspected trouble a few years ago when all the Devs showed up at comic-con wearing empire shirts and talking about how much they love working on the Darkside characters. I became even more worried when they said this every chance they had, then 90% of the media released featured empire.
bumstah
EA was my first red flag. Then it was learning that ex-Warhammer devs will be in charge of the PvP. That's when I should've hit the panic button but Bioware and the SW franchise convinced me to give it a shot... And yes, people are overdramatizing the situation but there is no denial that overall this game has not met expectations within the active, passionate gaming community. Hypernetic
It actually has nothing to do with EA, it's all Bioware. Anyone who was a general tester in beta can attest to that. They made the same mistakes for the 7 months I was in beta as they did today.
